Bleeding Heart is still here!
Following a piece in The Evening Standard last night, which reported the closure of Bleeding Heart, a large number of customers have phoned, concerned that after 37 years we had succumbed to Covid.

Please be assured that The Heart is still healthy and pumping away in these extraordinary times - albeit slightly slimmer and trimmer, thanks to Covid Regulations and a ban on large (and lively) Corporate Entertaining.

The good news about the current consolidation is that the Bleeding Heart Bistro, our engine room and Happy Place, with its heated Terrace and Gazebo will now be open seven days a week, including Sunday Lunches and Christmas Day.
And The Tavern Bar on the corner of the Yard and The Dining Room will open six days - with a Saturday brunch menu for those Hatton Garden shoppers needing sustenance.

And with all our Key Staff - Chef Julian, Manager Laurent , Head Sommelier Yann , Réservations Manager Marta and Estelle in daily bookings, Bistro Manager Pauline and her number 2 Thibault plus Benoit our Crypt Events manager temporarily running The Tavern - are all here to look after you and like us awaiting The Crypt reopening, and the return of our famous Wine Dinners.

Meanwhile over in ghost town that is The City, the Don is currently dormant but our wonderful wine shop and Tasting Terrace at St Swithins Wine Shippers across the Lane from The Don is open every weekday.

We look forward to seeing you this month to celebrate Christmas with us or in 2021 for a happier and healthier New Year.
