A sacred beginning, shared by thousands.

Yesterday at , devotees gathered for the first shila pujan of Tapomurti Nilkanth Varni Maharaj - a deeply sacred ceremony celebrating the foundation-laying of this momentous project.

Nilkanth Varni, the teenage form of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, represents love, compassion, unwavering faith, and spiritual resolve. The Tapomurti - a serene standing murti that will rise 42 feet - will embody these divine virtues, serving as a place of reverence and reflection. It will inspire generations to come to lead lives rooted in spirituality, inner strength, and service to others.

His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj had sanctified the bricks for this ceremony in India a few days earlier, blessing the beginning of this devotional endeavour.

As the first bricks were placed in the foundation pit, it marked more than the start of construction; it was the commencement of a collective offering of faith, unity, and devotion.
