This 1st Sunday in September we began a new series, “Decoding Elevation” - and Pastor Temi Odejide took us to Philippians 3, where a man (Paul) more than twenty years into ministry was still pressing toward what he called the upward call of God.

Because salvation was never only about escape. You were saved from something, yes. But you were also saved for something.

There is a call on your life. And the direction of it is upward.

We closed at the Communion tTable, remembering the price that was paid to raise us. A good place to end a first Sunday.

That’s the rhythm Pastor left us with last Sunday - you receive, then you let it go. The wisdom, the comfort, the grace, the generosity.

And here’s the miracle: the bag you gave from? You go back to it and it’s full again.

God multiplies what you release. Every time. 🙌🏾

The river is already flowing in you. Believe it and learn how to release it 🙌🏾🌊

Three things Pastor left us with last Sunday...
1. Stay connected. The branch has no business producing the sap. It just stays attached - and it flows.
2. Keep drinking. Yesterday's encounter cannot sustain today's assignment. You've got to keep filling.
3. Change your mind. Overflow is a mentality. Scarcity asks "will it be enough?" Overflow says "it is more than enough." Jesus took five loaves and two fish - and it wasn't just enough, it was more than enough.

Now stop trying to control the river of God, and let it carry you. 🙌🏾

There's a point where you're no longer walking through the water. The water is carrying you!!

God gives you wisdom - share it.
He gives you opportunity - create one for somebody else.
He gives you grace - extend it.
He gives you resources - become generous.
He gives you encouragement - speak life into someone.

We don’t have to hoard what came from a limitless Source.

The blessing on your life was always meant to travel further than you.

So perhaps the question isn’t only, “God, what are You giving me?”

Maybe it’s also: “Who are You trying to reach through me?”

Over there. Over there. Everywhere. Chasing the next place God might be moving, the next room where the answer might be - while the Kingdom sits inside us, overlooked.

Like searching the whole house for glasses that are already on your head. 🤓

If you have accepted Jesus as Lord, the Kingdom of God is in you. Not near you. Not coming to you. In you.

Stop going up and down for what’s already on the inside. 🙏🏾
