Kehillas Federation comprises a network of constituent and affiliated synagogues. As a formal Beis Din they hear civil cases and deal with matrimonial matters.

As well as looking after its member synagogues, Kehillas Federation has a Bis Din, a Burial Society and runs a kosher food licensing ooeration. The Beis Din's dynamic Dayanim are internationally recognised authorities and are always available to discuss halachic questions. The Kashrus Division issues local kosher catering licences as well as undertaking product certification at home and abroad. K

ehillas Federation is going through an exciting period of growth and is developing new communities. It provides numerous shiurim throughout its synagogues and is very involved with formal and informal education in the Jewish community across the UK

📜 A Torah scroll and two megillos Esther have been returned to the Jewish community under the care of Kehillas Federation—marking the conclusion of a long journey home.

Originally from Baghdad, the sefer Torah had been in the Methodist Church’s possession for decades before they, in a gesture of respect and ‘decolonisation,’ worked with The Board of Deputies of British Jews to facilitate its return. Though the scroll is beyond repair, it will be buried in accordance with halacha, while one of the megillos may yet be restored for future use.

A moment of deep significance, reminding us of our unbreakable connection to Torah.
