The 2027 Early Bird booking form for the Celebrate Festival is available now!

Today we hear in the Gospel, Jesus asking ‘Who you say I am?’

The Celebrate Festival was a great opportunity to explore this question.
Here is another reflection from a parishioner who attended last week.

The Celebrate festival at Worth Abbey brought a lot of joy to my heart.
The coming togather of such magnitude of people of faith over 5 days sharing in worship, talks , Holy Mass Adoration , Reconciliation and networking was very uplifting .
I felt renewed in my spirit and look foward to being at the next celebrate festival come 2027.
I encourage my brothers and sisters in the Parish to give it a go. It can be very rewarding .

Celebrate runs Catholic Charismatic, faith-filled, fun events for all ages, combining good Christian teaching, inspirational speakers and celebration of the liturgy, all in the power of the Holy Spirit. Young and old alike join together in a vibrant atmosphere to celebrate the love of God.

Another reflection from a parishioner who attended the Celebrate festival:

I had heard lots of wonderful things about Celebrate and this year I decided to attend, with some of my friends from church. It was wonderful and I enjoyed it very much. I loved the live band, One Hope Project and praised God at the top of my voice with everyone else. I enjoyed the guest speakers and found Fr. Roberto Pasolini’s talks very inspirational; We live in a culture where our value is connected to our achievements - but God doesn’t look for the extraordinary He just wants us to be real, authentic and honest with Him.

As we return to St Joseph’s from the Celebrate Festival, here are some reflections from our parishioners who attended:

I was inspired to attend this year by attending last years festival. We wanted to share the fellowship you get at Celebrate with our Cell group family and with the Alive with the Spirt brothers and sisters.
The 5 days were special with great talks, powerful praise and worship a great location, the Abbey Church and fellowship.
I would recommend Celebrate 2027 to all Parisioneers who are looking to develop thier Catholic faith.

What an incredible 5 day festival we had at Worth Abbey. Over 1000 people of all generations coming together in worship and praise of Our Lord and Saviour.
St Joseph’s parishioners had a blessed time at Worth and booking their places for next year - 14th - 18th August 2026 🙏🏽

This morning was our last festival morning of 2026 and it was FILLED with God's LIGHT and LOVE. We pray that everyone who joined us had the most blessed time and got home safely.

It's fair to say we're a bunch of happy (and tired) campers! ⛺✝️
