Last weekend Kacie (Youth mod) attended the Congregational Federation National Assembly!

It was a great experience for our Youth mod to meet with Harry Booton, the youth ambassador for the Congregationalist federation, and build our ecumenical relationship!

Kacie describes the experience:

“It was a joy to be able to attend the National Congregational Federation Assembly and experience how other traditions navigate their church business. It was great to hear the reports of the work the Congregational church is doing and to catch up with their Youth Ambassador about the work we are both doing respectively and how we can work together. A personal highlight was the meeting of our respective mascots; seeing Jeremy (URCY) and Olly (Congregational Youth) together was a lovely reminder that building relationships-even among teddies- is at the heart of our ecumenical work.”

A Workshop which a few of us did at Youth Assembly discussed questions such as: what does faith mean to you?

An insightful question which allows us to discuss the love and challenges of our faith and what faith means to us, especially just after Easter ✝️
Here are a few of the answers from URC Youth.
