Rise Up: Your Next Chapter Starts Now

Some seasons make you feel like you’re running on empty. Plans fail, doors stay shut, and your own strength feels small. But I’m here to remind you: your current situation is not your final destination.

You were not made to stay down. "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you". God didn’t place His breath in you just for you to survive. He placed it in you so you could thrive, lead, and overcome.

Maybe the delay has been long. Maybe people counted you out. Yet "the Lord will perfect that which concerns me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever". He’s not finished with your story. What looks like a setback is often God setting the stage for a comeback. "Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning". Your morning is coming.

Don’t let fear steal your momentum. "For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control". You have power, not panic. You have love, not defeat. You have self-control, not chaos. When you move with God, you move with authority.

Your effort matters, but your endurance matters more. "Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up". Keep showing up. Keep being faithful in the small things. The harvest is tied to your persistence, not your perfection.

And when you feel weak, lean here: "I can do all things through him who strengthens me". Not through talent alone, not through connections alone, but through Christ who strengthens you from the inside out.

So lift your eyes. Speak life over yourself today. "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it". You have breath. You have another chance. You have a God who goes before you.

"For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, 'Fear not, I am the one who helps you'".

You are not behind. You are not forgotten. You are being positioned.
Now rise, take the next step, and walk into what God has prepared for you.

You are Free Indeed

If you feel bound today - by fear, by addiction, by past mistakes, by anxiety, by words spoken over you - hear this: God is still in the business of setting people free.

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor... to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed". Jesus came for this very purpose: to open prison doors that you thought were locked forever.

Deliverance begins with truth. "You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free". The enemy’s power is built on lies: "You’re worthless. You’ll never change. No one can help you." But God’s truth is louder. "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed". Not partly free. Not free for a day. _Indeed_ - completely, permanently.

Maybe you’ve been fighting the same battle in your mind for years. Take heart: "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God". You don’t fight in your own strength. You pray, you stand on Scripture, and God breaks chains you cannot touch.

"Resist the devil, and he will flee from you". Resistance looks like calling on God’s name, speaking His Word out loud, refusing shame, and choosing obedience one step at a time. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you".

There is no pit so deep that His mercy cannot reach. "He brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure". Whatever has held you - guilt, trauma, generational patterns, fear - the Lord can lift you out.

Today, receive it: "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery". You are not going back.

Lift your hands. Pray this with me: _Lord, I surrender every chain. By the blood of Jesus, I am delivered, cleansed, and restored. I walk out free._

"The Lord will perfect that which concerns me... Forsake not the work of your hands". You are His work. And He finishes what He starts.

You are free. Walk in it.

Encouragement & Counsel: You Are Seen, You Are Held

If your heart is heavy right now, I want you to know something first: you are not alone, and you are not a burden to God. He sees the silent battles you fight when no one else notices.

"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit". Brokenness doesn’t disqualify you from God’s love. It’s often the place where His presence feels closest. You don’t have to pretend you’re fine here. Bring the weight, the tears, the confusion. "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you". That word _all_ means He’s ready for the big worries and the small ones too.

Maybe you feel like you’ve failed, or you’re stuck in a cycle you can’t break. Counseling starts with truth: your mistakes don’t define your future. "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come". Shame wants to keep you looking backward, but God’s mercy is for today. "His mercies are new every morning; great is your faithfulness". You get a fresh start with Him, even on your hardest day.

When your mind races and peace feels far, try this: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God... will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus". Talk to Him honestly, thank Him for what you still have, and let His peace stand guard over your thoughts.

You may not see the way forward yet, but God is working even when it’s quiet. "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose". This season is not wasted. It’s shaping you.

So be gentle with yourself today. Rest. Ask for help if you need it - from God, from trusted friends, from a counselor. "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ". Healing rarely happens in isolation.

You are loved, you are valued, and you are not finished. "The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be still".

Take the next small step. I’m cheering for you.

You Were Made for More: Rise and Keep Going

Life will test you. Some days it feels like the wind is against you, the door is closed, and your strength is running thin. But listen: your story isn’t over. The chapter you’re in is not the end of the book.

You were not created to stay stuck. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". God’s plan for you is bigger than this delay, bigger than that setback, bigger than what people said about you. Hope is not wishful thinking. It’s confidence that the One who began something in you will complete it. "He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion until the day of Christ Jesus".

So when fear whispers “quit”, answer back with faith. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go". You don’t walk alone. Courage isn’t the absence of fear. It’s moving forward with God beside you, one faithful step at a time.

Your best days are not behind you. "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?" New doors, new grace, new strength are already springing up. You just have to look up long enough to see them.

And when you feel weak, remember this: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Not by your power alone, but by His. Your limitation is not your destination.

So lift your head today. Breathe. Pray. Take the next small step. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up".

You are loved. You are chosen. You are not finished.
Keep going. The breakthrough you’re praying for may be one obedient step away.

"The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever". Rest in that. Then rise.

Welcome to June: ARISE AND SHINE – Isaiah 60:1-3

Happy New Month, friend!

June has come with a divine command from heaven, and it’s short, powerful, and personal: “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1

If you’ve felt stuck, overlooked, or like you’ve been in a long night, this word is for you. God is not asking you to wait for light. He’s saying _your light has come_. The same glory that raised Christ from the dead is rising upon your life, your family, your business, and your purpose this month.

3 Counsel Points to Walk in This Light

1. Arise – Stand up from where delay has kept you
Arising is a decision before it’s a movement. Stop lying down in the dust of past failures, disappointments, or “it’s too late” thoughts. Isaiah 60:1 doesn’t say “if you feel like it, arise.” It’s a command. Your seat at the table of destiny is still reserved. This June, stand up in prayer, stand up in faith, and stand up to take action on that dream you’ve postponed. God is backing you up.

2. Shine – Let your life speak without apology
“Shine” means to be visible, to reflect what God has placed inside you. You don’t need permission to glow. Matthew 5:14 says, _“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”_ Stop dimming yourself to make others comfortable. Your excellence, your kindness, your skill, your testimony—let it shine. People around you need the light only you can carry. Don’t hide it.

3. The Glory Has Risen – You’re not doing this alone
Isaiah 60:2 reminds us that while darkness covers the earth, _“the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.”_ This is your security for June. The same God who turned Joseph’s prison into a palace, who turned Hannah’s tears into Samuel, is rising over your situation. His glory means His weight, His presence, His help. When His glory shows up, impossibilities bow.

Prophetic Encouragement for You:
June 2026 will not pass you by. Nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising (Isaiah 60:3). Doors that were locked will open. Helpers will locate you. What you lost in the last season, God will restore sevenfold.

So lift your head. Straighten your shoulders. Arise from discouragement. Shine through the fear. Because your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

I pray for you: May June announce you. May every step you take this month be ordered by God. And may His goodness and mercy follow you all the days of June and beyond.

Go and Arise. Go and Shine. June is yours!

Amen.

Saturday Tonic: Refill, Renew, Rejoice

Saturday. The middle space between the rush of Friday and the reset of Sunday. It’s not just a pause, it’s a provision.

After creation, God didn’t rush to the next project. "On the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done". If the Creator built rest into the rhythm of life, you’re not weak for needing it. You’re wise for taking it.

Today is your tonic - something to restore your soul before the week starts again. "It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep". Sleep, stillness, laughter, a slow meal, time with people you love. These aren’t distractions from purpose. They are part of it.

Maybe Saturday found you carrying leftover worries from the week. Set them down. "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you". You don’t have to solve next week today. God isn’t surprised by your calendar. He already walks in the days ahead of you.

Use this day to refill. "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint". Renewal happens when you stop striving and start trusting. Read something that lifts you. Pray without an agenda. Be quiet long enough to hear God’s whisper: _You are mine._

Don’t let the day slip by without joy. "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it". Rejoice on purpose. Call someone you’ve been meaning to check on. Sit in the sun. Thank God for breath, for mercy, for a second chance.

Saturday is not wasted time. It’s sacred time. Refill your cup today, so you can pour out strength tomorrow.

"The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing". Rest in that love.

Have a peaceful, life-giving Saturday.

Friday Nugget: Finish Strong, Rest Well

It’s Friday. The week tried to drain you, stretch you, maybe even shake you. But here you are, still standing. That’s not luck. That’s grace.

Friday is a gift. In Scripture, it was the day God finished the work of creation and then "saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good". Then came Sabbath - rest, joy, reflection. "On the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done". God Himself modeled it: work with excellence, then rest with gratitude.

So don’t limp into the weekend defeated. Finish strong. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men". That last email, that last task, that last conversation - do it with integrity. God sees faithfulness in the small things, and "well done, good and faithful servant" is earned in the ordinary.

If the week left you weary, remember this: your value isn’t in your productivity. "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest". You can lay the burden down. Rest is not laziness, it’s obedience. Even Jesus stepped away from the crowd to pray and be renewed.

As you close this week, give thanks. "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you". Thank God for what went right. Thank Him for lessons in what didn’t. Gratitude shifts your eyes from what you lack to what He’s already done.

Look ahead with hope. "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future". Monday is not yours to fear. Today’s peace is yours to carry.

So finish strong today. Rest well tonight. Trust Him for tomorrow.

"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning" - including Friday morning, and Saturday morning too.

Have a blessed weekend.

Strength for Today: You Are Held

If your heart feels heavy today, pause and breathe. You don’t have to carry everything alone. God sees you, He knows the weight, and He invites you to bring it to Him.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest". That rest isn’t escape. It’s strength to keep going without breaking. You’re allowed to be tired. You’re also allowed to hope again.

When anxiety crowds your mind, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God... will guard your hearts and your minds". Talk to Him honestly. Gratitude shifts your focus from the problem to the Provider.

You may feel stuck, like nothing is changing. But growth often happens underground before it shows above ground. "He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion". God doesn’t start things He won’t finish. Your current season is not wasted. It’s preparation.

You are not defined by your worst day, your mistakes, or what others said. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come". You have a new identity, new mercy every morning, and a new future ahead.

So stand up today. "Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go". You can take the next small step. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".

You are loved, you are not alone, and you are not finished. Keep going.
