With a heart full of gratitude, we thank God for blessing us with a truly meaningful and successful North Zonal MMVS Conference 2026.

We express our sincere thanks to HG Abraham Mar Stephanos for his gracious presence, prayers, and blessings which made this conference spiritually uplifting and memorable for all of us.

Our heartfelt appreciation to Rev. Fr. Aby Philip (Vice President) for his constant guidance and support throughout.

Special thanks to Rev. Fr. Sunil Kurien Baby for the inspiring message, and to Rev. Fr. Mobin Achen for leading the quiz session so beautifully.

Our gratitude to our Zonal Coordinators – Ruby Sibu and Sheela Issac for their dedication and efforts in organising this conference.

A big thank you to the hosting parish, Rev. Fr. Robin Achen (Vicar), Unit Secretary Anu, Treasurer Jeena , and the entire team of St Mary’s Indian Orthodox Church Mansfield for their wonderful arrangements and warm hospitality.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to all participants who took part in the conference and the quiz. Your presence and involvement truly made the event lively and meaningful.

ST. THOMAS INDIAN ORTHODOX CONGREGATION, ITALY

With profound gratitude to Almighty God and great joy, we are pleased to announce a significant milestone in the life of our faith community in Italy.
By the blessings and paternal guidance of His Eminence Abraham Mar Stephanos, the St. Thomas Malankara Orthodox Community, Italy has been officially elevated to the status of a Congregation. Effective June 6, 2026, it shall henceforth be known as the St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Congregation, Italy.
We are also delighted to announce that Rev. Fr. Jibin Johnson has been appointed as the Priest-in-Charge.
We pray that Almighty God may abundantly bless his ministry and grant him wisdom, strength, and grace as he leads and shepherds the congregation in its spiritual growth, mission, and service.
We humbly request the prayers and continued support of all faithful as we embark upon this new chapter in the life and witness of our congregation.

Historic First BeNeLux Family Conference Held in Belgium

The first-ever BeNeLux Family Conference of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, Diocese of UK, Europe & Africa, was prayerfully held on 23rd and 24th May 2026 at Hotton, Belgium. The gathering brought together Orthodox
families from Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and France for a spiritually
enriching weekend of worship, fellowship, learning, and renewal.

The conference was held under the theme “Go and Do Likewise” (St. Luke 10:37),
drawing inspiration from the Parable of the Good Samaritan and encouraging
participants to reflect on Christian compassion, mercy, and service in family life, parish communities, and society at large.

The conference included inspiring sessions by Diocesan Metropolitan Abraham Mar Stephanos, Dr. Sen Varghese, Dr. Manoj Kurian (WCC) and Rev. Fr.Jibin Thomas Abraham.

An OVBS program was also held simultaneously for the younger members. The conference concluded with the celebration of the Holy Qurbana and the Service of Holy Pentecost on Sunday.

The Oriental Orthodox Joint Divine Liturgy was held in Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom at St. Mary and St. John Coptic Orthodox Church.
Faithful and clergy from the Coptic, Ethiopian, Indian, and Eritrean Orthodox Churches gathered in unity and prayer.
The celebration reflected shared Apostolic faith, brotherly love, and Christian fellowship.
Glory be to God forever. Amen.
