Gospel Reading from Book of Luke:6:20-26
Wednesday 9th of September
Jesus lifted up His eyes on His disciples & said: “Blessed are you poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. Blessed are you that weep now, for you shall laugh. Blessed are you when men hate you, & when they exclude you & revile you & cast out your name as evil on account of the Son of man! Rejoice in that day & leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven ; for so their fathers did to the prophets”.
Our Lady Mother of Mercy, help us to be merciful as Pope Leo is asking us to be💒

The Nativity of Our Lady
Gospel Reading from Book of Matthew 1:18-23
Tuesday 8th of September
Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child of the Holy Spirit; & her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to send her away. But as he considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit; she will bear a son, & you shall call His name Jesus”.
Happy Birthday our Blessed Mother, contrition is a great present💒

Gospel Reading from Book of Luke 6:6-11
Monday 7th of September
On another sabbath, when He entered the synagogue & taught, a man was there whose right hand was withered. And the the scribes & the Pharisees watched Him, to see whether He would heal on the sabbath, so that they might find an accusation against Him. But He knew their thoughts & He said to the man who had the withered hand, “Come & stand here”. And he rose & stood there. And Jesus said to them, “I ask you, is it lawful on the sabbath to do good or to do harm, to save life or to destroy it?”
Holy Mary Mother of Mercy, teach us to see the needs of others, as you did at the wedding feast in Cana, & to be always ready to help those in need💒

Gospel Reading from Book of Matthew 18:15-20
Sunday 6th of September
“If your brother sins against you, go & tell him his fault, between you & him alone. If he listen to you, you have gained your brother. But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every word may he confirmed by the evidence of two or three witnesses”.
Holy Mary our Mother, give us the courage to correct those around us & bring them close to God💒

Gospel Reading from Book of Luke 6:1-5
Saturday 5th of September
On a Sabbath, while He was going through the grainfields, His diciples plucked and ate some heads of grain, rubbing them in their hands. But some of the Pharisees said, “Why are you doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath?”
Holy Mary Cause of our Joy, may us your children never lose that welcoming smile that draws people to your Son💒

Gospel Reading from Book of Luke 5:33-39
Friday 4th of September
Jesus told them a parable: “No tears a piece from anew garment and outs it upon an old garment; if he does, he will tear the new & the piece from the new will not match the old. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; if he does, the new wine will burst the skins & it will be spilled, & the skins will be destroyed. But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins”.
Holy Mary our Mother, may we learn from you to listen to God & to do what He wants us to do💒

Gospel Reading from Book of Luke 5:1-11
Thursday 3rd of September
While the people pressed upon Him to hear the word of God, He was standing by the lake of Genneraset. And He saw two boats by the lake; but the fisherman had gone out of them & were washing their nets. Getting inti one of the boats, which was Simon’s He asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down & taught the people from the boat.
Peter, James and John brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed Him….

Gospel Reading from Book of Luke 4:38-44
Wednesday 2nd of September
When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; & He laid His hands on every one of them & healed them…& when it was day He departed & went into a lonely place. And the people sought Him & came to Him, & would have kept him from leaving them; but He said to them, “I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other cities also; for I was sent for this purpose”.
Holy Mary Queen of the Universe, bury deep in our hearts the sentiment that where souls are concerned, nothing is too much trouble. Everyone is worth all the Blood of Jesus💒

Gospel Reading from Book of Luke 4:31-37
Tuesday 1st of September
A man who had the spirit of an unclean demon cried out with a loud voice, “ Ah! What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God”. But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent, & come out of him!”. And when the demon had thrown him down in the midst, he came out of him, having dine him no harm. And they were all amazed & said to one another, “What is this word? For with authority & power He commands the unclean spirits, and they come out”.
Holy Mary our Mother, help our children to prepare for the new academic year so that over the next few months they become, with the Grace of your Son, the person He wants them to be💒
