Over 40 people walked and/or ran 5km to mark our 85th birthday and raise much-needed funds for our Synagogue 😍 Everyone had a great time at the StoneX Stadium, helped by beautiful blue sky and sunshine, a fabulous family atmosphere plus a load of freebies provided by a selection of Jewish charities who joined us. Join Rabbi Botnick - in person or online - this Saturday for the first session in our new Lunch & Learn series, titled β€œHidden Yidden," in which we’ll explore the underappreciated impact of Jewishness on shaping western culture. Each month, we'll cover a different creative field – such as the visual arts, music, literature, film and television, even sports – and learn how some of that field’s greatest luminaries might have been influenced by their Jewish background, a factor that has often been overlooked or hidden for any number of reasons.
