✨ This September we're launching something new.

We believe God is calling us to keep making room at the table for more people to encounter Jesus and find home. So from 20th September, we'll be launching the 5th Service at 5:30pm at the Ethiopian Church.

It'll have a slightly different feel: more spacious, stripped-back worship, centred around weekly communion, but still fully charismatic, with plenty of room to respond to what we sense the Holy Spirit is doing.

Alongside the launch of the 5th Service, our existing evening congregation will continue to meet at King's House at 5:30pm.

📅 Key dates:
• 2 August – Our current 5pm moves to 5:30pm at King's House
• 13 September – Baptism Service at the Ethiopian Church
• 20 September – Launching both 5:30pm services

This Sunday marked the beginning of a new chapter for Well City Church! 🎉

We're delighted to officially celebrate Lois stepping into the role of Priest-in-Charge. This is a significant milestone for Well City, and we're so grateful for all God has done to bring them to this point.

Two years ago, Well City was planted out from KXC and has been faithfully led by Lois Tackie-Oblie as Priest and Pastor. During this season of planting, Pete has served as Priest-in-Charge, helping to establish and support the church as it took root.

We're delighted to officially celebrate Lois stepping into the role of Priest-in-Charge. This is a significant milestone for Well City, and we're so grateful for all God has done to bring them to this point.

While this marks a new season of independence, we'll remain closely connected through the TABLE family of churches.

Congratulations, Well City, we're cheering you on and praying for all that's to come! 💛

Last week marked Refugee Week, a time to celebrate the resilience, strength, and contributions of refugees and people seeking sanctuary. 🌍

This year's theme was Courage.🫀 Throughout the week, we reflected on what it means to take heart in the face of challenge and uncertainty. In King's House, our exhibition explored the many dimensions of courage through stories, reflections, and creative displays, inviting visitors to consider how courage can inspire hope, compassion, and community. ❤️

Today is Windrush Day, and we want to recognise the contributions of the Windrush generation, a generation of people from Caribbean backgrounds who made an invaluable contribution to rebuilding post-war Britain. 🚢 A generation whose heritage continues to shape and enrich London’s cultural and social identity today. 🙌
We give thanks and reflect on the impact this generation has made on the church and how it has been revived by the faith of those who answered the call to help rebuild this country. 🙏.💚
