The Indian High Commission recently played host to a warm and inspiring gathering celebrating the progress and spiritual significance of the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium (TOVP). The event brought together devotees, diplomats, and well-wishers for an evening of updates, reflection, music, and refreshments.
Brajavilas Prabhu, Vice Chairman of the TOVP, presented an informative update on the templeβs development and screened a beautiful video documenting the recent visit of Hon. Amit Shah. His presentation highlighted milestones achieved and the continued momentum behind completion of this landmark project.
Praghosa Prabhu, GBC UK, gave an insightful talk on the templeβs significance, placing the TOVP in a broader spiritual and cultural context and underscoring its importance for devotees and the wider community.
The programme was enriched by moving devotional music: Adishvari Revati devi Dasi and Dr. Jay Subal Balram das performed a soothing flute recital accompanied by mrdanga, which led into a relaxing guided meditation that created a serene, devotional atmosphere for all attendees.
Guests enjoyed tasty snacks generously provided by Govindas, which added a convivial close to an evening of learning, devotion, and community spirit.
Guests had the opportunity to receive paduka blessings from Lord Nityananda and blessings from Lord Narasimhadev.
The event was widely regarded as a harmonious blend of information, inspiration, music, and fellowship that reaffirmed support for the TOVP and strengthened ties among those gathered.
