Applications are open for the EOE Musical Theatre Day held at Ipswich Citadel on Saturday 17th October 2026 for ages 8-18 years 🌟🎵🎭

A high impact day of fun, meeting new friends and achieving far more than you ever thought possible.

Registration is 9.30am - 10am when children can be dropped off for a day led by the THQ Creative Arts Team. We with join together sharing in singing and dancing and looking at how songs can be used to talk about our faith in God as well as celebrating SA musicals. Repertoire taken from Disney, Wicked and Gowans and Larsson's Spirit. There will be a Celebration Performance to conclude our day together (open to all family and friends), beginning at 6.30pm.

Then our Emerging Leaders Day is for you! Join us at Coventry City Corps on Saturday 19th September for opportunities to develop leadership skills and take part in practical ensemble workshops.

We'll also be launching our leadership mentoring scheme, with a first opportunity to sign up being offered to delegates on the day.

MACA DANCE is looking to recruit both a Dance Captain and New Dancers.
DANCERS
AGE – 16 years plus. Applicants must have a high performance and skill base in dance and be passionate about using this in worship through Christian dance forms. They must be devoted to encouraging and teaching young dancers and be able to talk about their faith and how they use that in dance.

DANCE CAPTAIN
AGE -21years plus. As above but must also show leadership and mentoring skills, be mature in their faith and have extensive choreography experience.

If you are interested, please send a written paragraph about your experience and your passion for dance within the Salvation Army and a performance dance reel. If applying for Dance Captain please also send a video of a routine that you have choreographed.
