The Society

The Society The official page for The Society under the patronage of Saint Wilfrid and Saint Hilda The Society is an ecclesial body, led by a Council of Bishops.

The purposes of the Society are:

-to promote and maintain catholic teaching and practice within the Church of England
-to provide episcopal oversight to which churches, institutions and individuals will freely submit themselves
-to guarantee a ministry in the historic apostolic succession in which they can have confidence

The Society is not a membership organization. The Society is supported and

financed by Forward in Faith and administered by its Director. Those who support the aims of The Society are asked to support its work by joining Forward in Faith.

A session exploring ideas, resources and best practice for Baptism and Confirmation Preparation.

The Anglo-Catholic Children, Youth and Family Ministry Network is for anyone - laity or clergy - in voluntary or paid positions, who are involved in ministry with young people, for example through Sunday School, Messy Church, Toddler Groups, Youth Groups, School Assemblies, etc. For more details about joining the network, email the convenor, Clare Williams, who will send you more details, including the link for the meeting.
