SSW has a team of school workers who alongside dedicated volunteers and church staff visit schools to lead assemblies, RE lessons/days, iwonder spaces, sixth form conferences, SRE workshops, Christian Union lunchtime groups and events for Easter/Christmas.

‼️SAVE THE DATE‼️ You’re invited to Sutton Schoolswork’s Easter Experience 2026 FREE Public Performance! 🎭

Come along to St Peter’s Church, St Helier on Sunday 22nd February at 6pm to watch our interactive performance of the events of Holy Week , leading up to and including the Resurrection of Jesus. We will also pray and have tea and coffee available after the performance.

😁EVERYONE OF ALL AGES IS WELCOME!😁

WOW! What a first term we have had at Sutton Schoolswork! Today, as schools close for the Christmas Holidays, we wanted to share some of our highlights from the Autumn Term 🌟

A HUGE thank you goes out to all our amazing volunteers who have worked so hard this term!

All of us at Sutton Schoolswork are taking a little break over the Christmas Holidays so we come back in January feeling refreshed and ready to get going again!🎄 We pray that you have a restful & joyful Christmas time, however you are spending it 💙

Maisie, Abby & The AMAZING Sutton Schoolswork Primary Volunteers had lots of fun running the BRAND NEW Bible Explorers Workshop in 9 different schools over the first 8 weeks of the 2025/26 academic year 🤩

They have had the opportunity to teach approximately 490 children what can be found in the Old Testament & New Testament of the Bible; how there is one BIG story that runs through the whole Bible and why the Bible is such a special book for Christians 💙

❗EASTER EXPERIENCE 2026 CAST MEMBERS NEEDED!❗

After the HUGE success of Easter Experience 2025, where we made the jump from 3 to 5 venues across Sutton, we are holding Easter Experience 2026 in 5 venues again! With this in mind, we are in need of cast members for our 5 different venues.

Easter Experience is an interactive performance of the events of Holy Week, the week leading to the death and then resurrection of Jesus. It takes place in various Church venues across Sutton from end of February over 4 weeks. Y4 pupils from over 30 schools have been invited to come and watch a performance at the venue closest to them.

This event has been running in the borough of Sutton for over 20 years and we need YOU to be involved to make next year better than ever!
