The Church of the Transfiguration is situated in the diocese of Westminster and the Brent deanery. The church was originally built as a Presbyterian church and later a Methodist church. After a fire, the Methodist community left the church and moved into what was their hall. The diocese acquired the church in 1977 and the parish of Kensal Rise moved from St.
