Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this tragic incident. We’ll be praying for everyone concerned in the days ahead. You’re all in God’s hands.

We are devastated by the serious incident that took place at Big Church Festival 2026 today, in which a sign fell, injuring at least seven people, one of whom tragically lost their life.

First and foremost, all of our thoughts are with those who have been affected, their families and friends, and everyone who witnessed what happened.

Following today’s incident, we have made the decision to bring Big Church Festival 2026 to a close.

Here's a reminder of the lineup for our Festival in three weeks' time. We're looking forward to seeing you for just over a week of free films in venues across Raynes Park and, this year, Wimbledon Chase too!

This Sunday we won't be having our normal service instead we'll meet in Holland Gardens from 11am-2pm for a picnic and games. It'll be a great opportunity to get to know more people within our community and a chance to have fun together. Please bring your own picnic and garden chair. We'd love to see you all so join with us you'd be very welcome. Hopefully we’ll miss the rain! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

What a fun week we’ve had! Playing, singing and dancing! Over 80 children have been in our building with their parents and it’s been amazing to meet so many new people! Thank you to everyone who came! ❤️
