🎼 Concerto 2026 🎼
Saturday 13th June | 7.30pm

Vaughan Williams' beautiful Fantasia on Greensleeves opens our concert, followed by Samuel Barber's poignant Adagio for Strings. Andrew Campling's dramatic Concerto for Trombone, Piano & Strings includes melodies from the rich treasury of Irish folksong: the soloists are Milly Deering (trombone) and Kazunari Shiraiso (piano), who celebrates his 50th birthday this evening.

Our programme also features two fine works by Johann Sebastian Bach: Orchestral Suite No. 2 in B minor, with Samantha Bristow on solo flute, and Bach's celebrated Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 in G major. Do join us for a wonderful evening of music-making.
