Scientology holds that Man is an immortal spiritual being and basically good. The ultimate goal of Scientology is true spiritual enlightenment and freedom for the individual. Copyright and trademark notice: https://www.scientology.org.uk/terms.html

“If you are very, very sure of your own survival, you are almost impossible to invalidate.” — L. Ron Hubbard

There’s quiet power in that sentence. When you stop basing your worth on other people’s approval or on moments that pass, you become steady. You stop shrinking to fit other people’s expectations, you stop apologising for simply being alive, and you begin to move from reaction into clear, confident action.

Being “sure of your own survival” isn’t about bravado — it’s about inner resilience. It’s the kind of calm that comes from knowing you can face setbacks, learn from them, and keep building a life that matters to you. It’s practised in small ways: choosing truth over comfort, showing up when it’s hard, asking for help when you need it, and celebrating what you do well. It’s strengthened by connection, honest self-study, and tools that help you clear away the noise so your own voice can be heard.

When you stand in that place of certainty, criticism loses its power and doubt becomes an invitation to grow. You become harder to unmoor and freer to create.

If this speaks to you, explore inspiring stories and practical tools at scientology.tv — find ways to deepen your confidence and protect your peace.

Our Story

Welcome to Scientology London’s official page!

We hope to provide you with content which gives you a look into our philosophy and culture from meeting all our staff and followers, sharing inspirational quotes and hosting events and workshops.

The Church of Scientology has been in London since the early 1950s when our founder L. Ron Hubbard was first developing Dianetics & Scientology from his first office on Fitzroy Street which remains an L. Ron Hubbard property today.

But it was only in 2016 that we moved to our new Ideal Church in the heart of the City of London near St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Millennium Bridge, which we now reside in along with our Life Improvement Centre in the West End on Tottenham Court Road.
