In Islam, Muslims get buried, not cremated, The body is ritually washed and draped in a shroud before burial.

The local Muslim community holds a funeral prayer, called Salaatul Janaazah, to ask for God's mercy and blessings

The grave will be facing Mecca, The deceased is lowered into the grave using slings, and it's not safe for anyone to enter the grave. Once the body is in the grave, wood planks are placed along the length of the grave, and then the grave is backfilled.

Muslims strive to bury the deceased as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours. However, if the body needs to be examined by forensic examiners, it's best to bury the deceased no more than three days after the death

The funeral is usually led by the Imam and includes funeral prayers and readings from the Quran.

In Islam, Khatam Sharīf is a traditional practice of reading the entire Qurʾān and then blessing the soul of a deceased person. It is also known as the Journey to the Afterlife and also have food too!

DUA!!!!!!!!

Dua is our most potent weapon, a means of seeking help and mercy from Allah. To our oppressed brothers and sisters worldwide, remember that you possess the greatest power through your supplication. Turn to your Lord, raise your hands, and supplicate fervently.

Dua means invocation - to call out - and is an act of supplication, meaning asking or begging for something earnestly or humbly. For Muslims, it is an act of worship in which we ask Allah for His forgiveness and mercy, to grant us His favours and answer our requests.

Dua is one of the most important tools handed by Allah to humanity, an immensely personal means for us to communicate and connect with the Almighty.
