Introducing Rukn Salawat – Salawat Corner

What is Salawat Corner?
An area of the Mosque where spiritual aspirants will gather with the sole purpose – Salawat on the Prophet Muhammad

What will take place in this corner?
Dedicated gatherings of poetry and praise on the Messenger of Allah in various forms and languages

Where will it be?
The far left corner of the Main prayer hall

Who can join?
Any brothers can join

As we head towards the end of the academic year we are proud to have nearly reached a 3 year milestone with our youth Friday prayers. Held exclusively for the secondary school students, the initiative started in November 2023 and has been consistently running ever since. The numbers have steadily grown Alhamdulillah. Hounslow Jamia Masjid in collaboration with Niche of Lights are excited to present a UK wide simultaneous event on the mercy to the worlds - The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him)

What does this event entail?

Ten events held across the UK at the same time at different locations on the subject of all subjects, the greatest of creation, the light to head towards in our time of darkness - the Prophet Muhammad

••Surah Ikhlas Gathering••

A monthly collective recitation of one of the most oft recited verses of the Quran

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to his companions, “Is it difficult for one of you to recite a third of the Quran in a single night?” That was difficult for them, so they said, “Which one of us can do that, O Messenger of Allah?” The Prophet said, “The chapter, ‘Allah, the One, the Refuge’ (112:1) is worth one-third of the Quran.”

Starts Wednesday 17th June 7.30pm

“Ahead of you there lie days of patience, during which being patience will be like grasping a hot coal. The one who does good deeds then will have a reward like that of fifty men who do such deeds. Those present said: O Messenger of Allah, the reward of fifty of them? He said: “The reward of fifty of you.”
