Happy Father’s Day from St Mark’s Methodist Church 🤍

Today we celebrate and give thanks for fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, spiritual fathers and father figures who guide, support and encourage others with love and care.

We also keep in prayer those who may find today difficult, trusting in God’s comfort and peace.

“Children are fortunate if they have a father who is honest and does what is right.” — Proverbs 20:7 (GNBUK)

The wait is over… Faithful God Worship Night is here! 🙌

Soon we gather to worship, lift up the name of Jesus and spend time in God’s presence together.

If you’ve had a busy week, come and be refreshed.

If you’ve been carrying burdens, come and lay them before God.

If your heart is already full of praise, come and worship with us.

We are believing for a powerful evening filled with worship, fellowship and the moving of the Holy Spirit. Whether you’ve been counting down the days or have only just heard about it, there is still room for you.

As Lamentations 3:22–23 reminds us:

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness

Children matter to God.

One of our young people reminded us of the moment people brought children to Jesus so that He could bless them. While others tried to send them away, Jesus welcomed them.

It was a simple message, but a powerful one.

Our children are not just the future of the Church. They are part of the Church today.

At St Mark’s, we know how blessed we are to have the children and young people that we do. Week after week they continue to encourage, challenge and inspire us with their faith, enthusiasm and willingness to serve.

We’re so proud of all the children and young people who led Sunday’s service from beginning to end and shared what God had placed on their hearts.

Please continue to keep them in your prayers as they grow in faith, confidence and their walk with Christ. 🤍

Been a bit quiet on here this week but things have still been going on at St Mark’s Tottenham 🤍

This Sunday is a special one for us because the young people are leading the whole service from beginning to end.

Worship, prayers, readings, all of it.

We’re really looking forward to seeing them use their gifts and confidence for God and we’d love for you to join us.
