This afternoon Phil and Claire were at New Park Road Baptist along with others from our Baptist Family including Rev Wale Hudson-Roberts, Baptists Together Justice Enabler, for Carry Wi Story - a service of remembrance, justice and repair.

A great turnout with special guests from Jamaica including The Hon Olivia “Babsy” Grange OJ, CD, MP, Jamaican Minister for Culture, Gender, Entertainment & Sport. Rev Karl Johnson, chair of the Baptist World Alliance preached.

You’re invited to *Carry Wi Story, Lest We Forget* 🙏🏼🇯🇲🇬🇧

On Sunday 6th September at, 2pm, we’re gathering at New Park Road Baptist Church, Clapham Park for a service of remembrance, justice and repair.

We’ll trace the story from Africa, through slavery and resistance in Jamaica, to the present call for reparations and the petition being carried to the Crown.

Free to attend, but registration is required.
In person or livestream.
