Letchworth Islamic Society have got 2 local exhibitions in the coming week titled 'Understanding Islam: Youth Focus', inshAllah. The aim of the exhibition is to present Islamic literature in a positive light and to remove the misconceptions from the wider community.

On Tuesday 13th March from 9am to 5pm, they are at North Herts College, Hitchin, and on Thursday 15th March from 9am to 5:30pm, they are at North Herts College, Stevenage. On Thursday, they'll have a special faith debate with speakers from other faiths conducted by the college, special guest speaker brother Adnan Rashid from iERA will be answering questions.

"Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: Allah's Apostle was the most generous of all the people, and he used to reach the peak in generosity in the month of Ramadan when Gabriel met him. Gabriel used to meet him every night of Ramadan to teach him the Qur'an. Allah's Apostle was the most generous person, even more generous than the strong uncontrollable wind (in readiness and haste to do charitable deeds)."

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said that Shaytaan sits on his throne daily and dispatches his agents to work among human beings. One of the agents returns and says that I made a certain person commit a sin, another says I got so and so involved in this offence. Upon listening to all this, Shaytaan says that you have done nothing great. Eventually, one representative comes and says that I saw a husband and wife extremely devoted to each other. I sowed the seeds of enmity between them. On hearing this, Shaytaan becomes happy and embracing his agent says that you have indeed achieved something great. [Mishkat]. May we all never let Shaytaan come in between our families. Ameen
