The Plaque Unveiling!

Thank you to all who made this happen and came along for the unveiling of our Lewisham Heritage plaque yesterday. It was a wonderful morning hearing about the heritage of the Deptford Ragged School, The Shaftesbury Christian Centre and Princess Louise Institute.
Creating and installing a Lewisham Heritage plaque is a result of our Heritagefund Educating Deptford project.

Thank you to:
- The Deptford Deptford Ragged School Archive, particularly Katharine Alston and John Price.
- Heritage for the funding that has made this plaque possible
- Bear Cubs Parent and Toddler Group for the beautiful curtain
-Deptford Lounge for providing the chairs for the day

We had our Easter Service in The Bear building with a service, kids activity making Easter gardens and fish and bread after.

Soil was on the floor to think about Jesus the gardener in a way that activated our senses.
