Investigation continues after the roof façades of two houses collapsed on Woodland Terrace.

The previous website served us for around 9 years but it always had its challenges. So it was definitely time for a new one. Revd Owen has done a fantastic job in creating the content and making this an easily navigable and attractive place for visitors.

St Thomas Church helped provide somewhere for the residents of Woodland Terrace to stay after their homes partly collapsed. Well done to Rev Canon Liz Newman and Sheila & Jim Kinsella for helping the residents in their hour of need.

Residents had to sleep in a church after homes close to a major building site in Charlton partially collapsed on Saturday evening.

Last Sunday we made our annual visit to St Mary’s, Leigh. St Thomas’ link with this church community dates back 36 years, and St Luke’s since 2002 when the benefice was formed. My understanding is that the relationship came out of an initiative supported by Rochester and Southwark dioceses, to...
