"DON’T TAKE YOUR BLESSINGS FOR GRANTED"

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
“Your brother was here and tricked me and has carried away your blessing.” (Genesis 27:35)

TODAY'S WORD:
Esau was the firstborn son of Isaac and knew he would receive his father’s highest blessing, which included inheritance as well as being the leader of the family clan. But his twin brother, Jacob, deceived their father into giving him the valuable blessing. Esau took the blessing for granted until it was carried away by his brother.

Sometimes we let other people carry away our blessing. We let what they say about us, their disapproval and discouraging words, keep us from who we were meant to be. You have to put your foot down and say, “I’m not going to let people talk me out of my dreams or let anybody make me feel inferior as though I’m not good enough. I’m not going to let a boss, a teacher, or a counselor talk me into living an average life.” You have seeds of greatness. You are destined to leave your mark on this generation. Don’t let anyone carry away your blessing. Amen!

TODAY’S PRAYER:
“Father, thank You for the blessing, the gifts, and the talents that You have given me. Thank You for calling me to stir up my gifts, to develop them, and use them well for Your glory. I will protect and guard what You’ve given me and walk in Your blessing - in Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

"YOU'LL NOT MISS IT"

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
"So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up."
(Galatians 6:9)

TODAY'S WORD:
You might be praying for something that’s taking longer than you thought or expected. No matter how long you may have been standing on God’s promises, don’t give up! Your season is coming. Your harvest of blessing is on its way. It might be today, it might be tomorrow, it might be next week, next month or next year; but remember, at just the right time, you will experience your breakthrough.

Be encouraged because God is faithful, and His promises are true. Keep standing, keep hoping, keep believing. Keep doing good. Keep declaring the promises of God over your life. Choose to be around people who are going to encourage you. Make sure you fill your heart and mind with God’s Word. Let a song of praise come out of your mouth. Press on in faith because at just the right time, your harvest of blessing will come! Amen.

TODAY'S PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. Thank You for refreshing and renewing my heart. Fill me with Your peace; fill me with Your strength. Help me to do good and stand firm until I see my harvest of blessing in Jesus' name. Amen.

"YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES"

TODAY’S SCRIPTURES:
"By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence." (2 Peter 1:3)

TODAY’S WORD:
Whether you realise it or not, God has already given you everything you need to live the life He’s called you to. You don’t need to feel stressed out, worried or afraid. You don’t have to wonder if you’re “good enough” to receive from God because God’s blessing has nothing to do with your performance. He has already blessed you and given you everything you need by His divine power!

The world’s system tells us to strive, toil and struggle to get what we want. Our culture puts limits on people because of their natural abilities, resources, background or circumstances. But with God, there are no limits! By His divine power, you are equipped, well able and strong. The next time you start thinking “I can’t…” or “I don’t have what it takes…,” attack those negative thoughts with the truth by declaring, “I have what it takes; I am well able; and I am equipped by His divine power at work in me!” Amen.

TODAY'S PRAYER:
"Heavenly Father, thank You for Your power which is at work in me. Thank You for equipping me and calling me according to Your good purpose. Help me to understand Your truths today and forever. I keep my mind stayed on You in - Jesus’ name. Amen."

"THEY'LL COME TO YOU"

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
"Surely, your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life."
(Psalm 23:6, NLT)

TODAY'S WORD:
David’s life never seemed like he was going to fulfil his dream until the prophet Samuel suddenly showed up at his house and anointed him to be the next king of Israel. It’s significant that Samuel came to him. David didn’t have to try to convince Samuel to pursue him. Samuel came knocking on his door. There are blessings, breakthroughs, and the right people in your future that are going to come looking for you. You don’t have to go after them; God is going to cause them to pursue and find you.

There are Samuels - promotions, healings, breakthroughs, and moments of favour that God has already lined up to fast-track you into your destiny. People, betrayals, and rejection can not stop what God has planned for you. His plan supersedes those who try to push you down, leave you out, and tell you that you’re not qualified. Only do your part and live with expectancy, excited about your future, thanking God for the favour in store for your life. Amen!

TODAY'S PRAYER:
“Father, thank You that Your goodness and unfailing love are following me all the days of my life. Thank You for all the moments of favour that You’ve lined up to pursue and find me. I declare that Your plan for my life will supersede everything that comes against me - in Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

"YOU CAN FIND PEACE"

TODAYS SCRIPTURES
"You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." (Isaiah 26:3)

TODAYS WORD
If you're feeling frustrated, hopeless, or feeling like things are beyond your control, then the first question to ask yourself is, “What do I have my mind set on? What am I thinking about?” If you are focused solely on your circumstances or how impossible everything is, it’s going to affect your peace level. But when you keep your mind stayed on God's promises and what He has done for you in Christ, when you get your mind going in the right direction, then you shall have peace!

Whatever difficulty you are facing today, God still promises you peace in the midst of the storm. He promises that He will never leave you nor forsake you but preserve you when you call on Him. Choose to keep your mind focused on the Father. Be empowered by meditating on His Word. Find peace today by putting your trust and hope in Him alone. Amen!

TODAY'S PRAYER:
"Heavenly Father, thank You for your peace that passes understanding. I receive it as a blanket of comfort to my heart, mind and emotions. I choose to keep my mind stayed on You so that I can have peace in the midst of storms - in Jesus’ name, Amen."

"STAND UP TO THE BULLY"

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
"So then, surrender to God. Stand up to the devil and resist him, and he will flee in agony."
(James 4:7)

TODAY'S WORD:
The devil is a bully. Bullies are loud, intimidating, and liars. They try to threaten you to control you and keep you down. You have to stand up to the enemy and let him know that his intimidation and threats don’t move you. He has no power over you. You know who you are and who you belong to! He may seem big, but God and you are a majority. What God has destined for your life will come to pass. You’ll not live worried or let his lies play in your mind.

The way you defeat the enemy is by saying what God says about you. When the enemy says, “You’ll never break out and rise higher,” you have to declare, “The path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter, and that’s my path. My greatest victories are still in front of me.” "Greater is He, that's in me than he that's in the world." In Jesus, I am free, and I will become who I was created to be.” Don't be intimidated; but stand up to the enemy! Amen.

TODAY'S PRAYER:
Father, thank You for sending Your champion, Christ Jesus, who is far more powerful than the enemy. Thank You for breaking the enemy’s power and strengthening me to stand up tall. I will walk in the liberty by which Christ has set me free - in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

"GET BACK ON TRACK"

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
"For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands".

TODAY'S WORD:
Maybe you had a big dream. You tried and it didn’t work out. Now it's been so long and you have given up. Today is the day to get back on fire. Today is the day to get a new perspective. God, the Creator of the universe, has already accomplished it all in Christ. And, just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean that it’s not going to happen.

Be encouraged today that, God has already lined up the right people, the right opportunities, and the right answers in your path. Now you’ve got to shake off every doubt and every discouragement. No matter how long it takes, what God has promised you, He still has every intention of bringing it to pass. Keep standing, keep believing, keep hoping and keep moving forward. Get back on fire, get back on track and let Him fulfill every dream He has placed in your heart! Amen.

Father in Heaven, thank You for every dream and desire You’ve placed within me. Today I choose to press forward. I choose to stand in faith. I choose to be diligent with everything You have placed in my hand - in Jesus’ name, Amen.

"TIME IS PRECIOUS"

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
"So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days."
(Ephesians 5:15 -16)

TODAY'S WORD:
Time is the most valuable commodity that we have in life. It’s more valuable than money. You can make more money, but you can’t make more time. Time comes with a responsibility. You are to make the most of every opportunity. You shouldn't let time go to waste. Never live a day unfocused, unhappy, negative or defeated. God has entrusted you with His life. He has put gifts and talents on the inside of you. You’re a person of destiny, and you have an assignment and a purpose to fulfill.

Be encouraged today to evaluate how you are spending your time. Refocus your life. Let go of any distractions. Shake off any self-pity, any discouragement, any disappointments of the past and run your race with purpose. Be careful how you live and redeem the time so that you can fulfill the destiny He has prepared for you.

TODAY’S PRAYER:
"Father, thank You for the gift of today. I dedicate this day to You. I dedicate my mind, will and emotions to You. Use me this day for Your purposes and keep me on the path You have for me - in Jesus’ name, Amen."

THURSDAY 27 AUGUST 2026

"BE A WITNESS, NOT A JUDGE"

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
"And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:" (JOHN 16:8)

TODAY'S WORD:
It is the ministry of the Holy Spirit to reprove sin, righteousness, and judgment. It is not any man's ministry. We are simply witnesses. A witness is not the judge or the jury. A witness simply relates what he has experienced, thereby providing evidence to the truth of something. We are to witness in word and in deed, to the truth of Jesus being alive in us and let God be the one who convicts people. We are simply to testify to what we have seen or has happened to us.

Some people in their zeal, have gone beyond the witness stage and have tried to bring people under conviction themselves. This is trying to do the job that belongs to the Holy Spirit alone. This drives many people away from God. We should therefore stick to our task of being a witness, and tell people about the love of God, instead of bringing them under conviction and condemnation! Amen.

TODAY'S PRAYER:
"Father, thank you for choosing me to be a witness of Your kingdom. Grant me the grace to be bold in witnessing about Your love to all people in my household, community, and to all parts of the world - in Jesus Name, Amen!"

TUESDAY 25 AUGUST 2026

"THE KINGDOM OF GOD"

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE:
" ... it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom" (Luke 12:32)

TODAY'S WORD:
Our God is an extravagant God! He loves to do exceedingly beyond anything we can hope for or imagine. It gives Him pleasure to pour out His abundance and goodness in your life. It gives Him pleasure to give you His kingdom. Psalm 35:27 says " ... the LORD has pleasure in the prosperity of His people". The kingdom of God is simply God’s operating system, or His way of doing things.

Throughout scripture, God reveals His principles for living the abundant life He has for us. Romans 14 tells us that the kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. If you need more joy and peace in your life, stand on the promises of God, follow the leadings and promptings of the Holy spirit, and open your heart to His kingdom. As you do things God’s way, you will get His results and live in the blessing of His kingdom all the days of your life! Amen.

TODAY'S PRAYER:
"Father, thank You for Your hand of blessing in my life. Thank You for giving me Your kingdom. I receive it by faith today, I choose to stand on Your Word and follow the directions of Your Spirit in everything I do - in Jesus’ name, Amen.
