Yesterday, Rupert Lowe published the results of his R**e Gang Inquiry - which estimates that at least 250,000 young white girls in the UK have been subjected to the most horrific forms of abuse by mostly Muslim men of Pakistani heritage.

⚠️Assisted su***de lobby refuses to admit defeat⚠️

Leadbeater's assisted su***de bill has been proven to be deeply flawed and unworkable.

It was rightly shut down here in the UK.

And yet, Lauren Edwards MP has decided to resurrect this exact same bill, ignoring the urgent concerns of those most affected by this legislation.

The assisted su***de lobby does not give up.

But neither will we.

The fight is not over until assisted su***de is defeated once and for all here in the UK.

We've already proven this bill is unsafe and unworkable.

Now, it needs to be buried beyond resurrection.

From early starts to late finishes, countless conversations, practical tasks, prayers, and acts of service, this team has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to serve God's people and help make the day a blessing to so many.

Thank you for your faithfulness, dedication, and heart to see Jesus glorified.

What a privilege it has been to serve together.

What a morning at Awake Arise Birmingham.

We've worshipped together, heard God's heart and purpose for every sphere of society, been challenged by the realities facing our nation, and been inspired by powerful testimonies from men and women who have chosen to stand for Jesus and His Lordship, whatever the cost.

The message has been clear: this is not a time for the Church to shrink back, but to step forward with courage, conviction, and hope.

We're only halfway through, and we're expectant for all that God is still going to do this afternoon.

Awake. Arise. Jesus is Lord.

Today we're at Awake, Arise! in Birmingham with Christians from across the UK.

So far it's been a day of worship, prayer, teaching and encouragement as we consider what it means to follow Jesus faithfully in today's culture.

We're grateful to have the opportunity later on to hear inspiring testimonies, pray for our nation, connect with other believers and be equipped to bring the hope of Jesus wherever God has placed us.

"Wake up and understand the battle around us. Rise up and bring the hope of Jesus to the heart of society."

Today is the day. Awake Arise Birmingham is about to begin.

Across our nation, there is uncertainty, division, and a deep need for hope. Yet in the middle of it all, Jesus remains the same: faithful, true, and unshaken.

Today, believers from across the region will gather to lift up the name of Jesus, pray for our nation, and stand together in faith. This is a moment to look to Christ, awaken to His call, and arise with courage and conviction.

We believe there is hope for Birmingham. There is hope for the UK. And that hope is found in Jesus.

Awake. Arise. The gathering begins soon.
