Did you know that Christmas doesn't officially end until the candles are blessed?

This candle represents the bridge between the joy of Christmas and the journey of the year ahead. Candlemass marks the moment Jesus was presented at the temple, but for us today, it is a reminder that the light of Christmas isn't meant to be packed away in a box with the decorations.

We carry this light out into the world into our weeks of work, our rainy Tuesdays and our daily lives. The season changes but the Light remains. ✨✨

Join us for a wonderful, informal service at 4 pm where we'll be making our very own Christingles and exploring the beautiful symbolism behind each part. Get ready for some fun and a chance to learn something new!

Join us on Saturday 6th December 11 - 2 pm

Get ready for the start of the festive season! Our annual Christmas Market is coming up and it's the perfect chance to shop locally for unique gifts while supporting our community.

Once more we are hosting a range of incredible external vendors:

Crafted gin, beautiful ceramics, jewellery, organic Italian olive oil, hand-made cards, tea towels and ethical bags.

And our team of volunteers will be running our incredibly successful homemade jams and cakes stalls, books and puzzles, tombola, children's games and activities

Expect mulled wine, mince pies, festive music, and a fantastic, celebratory atmosphere!

Save the date, we can’t wait to see you there.

Our goal is to keep our local community connected with everything happening at St. Luke's from activities for young families and special services to opportunities to get involved with our choir. Each issue is packed full of details of upcoming events.
