Celebrate with John and Susie Wilkinson on Sunday 14 June at all the services, on their last Sunday at Holy Trinity Brussels, as John prepares for retirement. John has served at Holy Trinity for 13 years as Associate Chaplain. Susie has been involved in many significant areas of ministry and we will thank God for their gifts and service. We will share finger food, drinks after 10.30, a feast after 2 pm , and drinks and nibbles after 6 p.m. Come and share with John and Susie as we say goodbye and give thanks to God.

On Day Four of Thy Kingdom Come we think about a God who speaks: His word creates, sustains and redeems us.
In the Bible book which is named after him, we read that Samuel’s mother Hannah knew this and lived by it, and yet her son Samuel needed to learn to hear the Lord’s voice for himself.
What is amazing is hearing God call us by name – could there be anything more beautiful we could want for those we love? Before recognising God’s voice himself, Samuel was enabled to hear God's voice by others.

📅 On 5 June, the Anglican Communion Environment Network and the Anglican Peace and Justice Network are jointly hosting an online prayer meeting titled ‘Prayers of Lament and Hope: Restoring Peace with Creation’, to mark World Environment Day.

🌍 What is World Environment Day?
World Environment Day is the United Nations day for encouraging worldwide awareness and action to protect our environment. This year’s theme, ‘A Global Call for Climate Action,’ calls on all to step in , and listen to the urgent signals the Earth is sending.

🙋 What can I expect from the event?
Join with Anglicans from around the world for scripture, meditation, music and prayers and to hear from the Rt Revd Ernesto Manuel (Bishop of Nampula in the Igreja Anglicana de Mocambique e Angola) and Amal Sarah (from the Renew Creation project, Church of Pakistan and Anglican Communion Youth Network).

🤷 Who is it for?
This online prayer gathering is for anyone interested in learning about the links between conflict and damage to the environment and hearing from Anglicans engaged in peace-building in areas of social and environmental tension.
