This Sunday is Remembrance Sunday so we have put out our WW1 and WW2 memorials in the Church.
Lorraine, a Streatham resident popped in to photograph them this week and she left us with some information about 2 of the men on the WW2 plaque.

Derek William Cadman (1384084) was an Aircraftman 2nd class in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. He died on 16th May 1941, aged 18 years old. He was the son of James John and Annie Josephine Cadman of Streatham Common. They lived on Minehead Road and he is buried in Streatham Park Cemetery.

Private Arthur Deadman (498250) was in the Sherwood Forester 14th Battalion. He was the son of William and Rosa Deadman of Streatham. He died aged 31 on 27th May 1944 and is buried in Beach Head War Cemetery in Anzio, Italy.

We will remember them.
