We are looking forward to welcoming pets of all shapes and sizes to our special Pet Service at 4pm this Sunday (13th September). If your pet might be a bit reluctant to join you in church, you can still take part by sending a photo of them to us by dm (direct message). Photos received will be made into a slideshow to play during the service. Please also include your pet’s name as well as yours 🐾🐈🐾

If you are coming to our either of our Sunday services this week, you will also get the opportunity to admire the stunning crochet creations of Surbiton RBL Stitch and Natter Group Each year the group create pillar toppers on a theme - this year London landmarks. Our Sunday services this week are at 8.45am (traditional Eucharist service) and 10am Backpack Blessings- our all-age celebration of the new school term.

St Paul’s Mother’s Union has a guest speaker, Dr Ann-Marie Wilson MBE, at their meeting from 10am on Tuesday 8th September. Dr Wilson is an anti-FGM (female ge***al mutilation) campaigner and charity founder; she is also a published author. Come and hear more of her inspirational story - all are welcome and there is no need to pre-book. The talk will be held in the church centre, adjoining the main church building and accessed down the driveway to the church from the Hook Road.

The Autumn term has started, and we are looking forward to celebrating with a special all-age service to bless those involved in education. Bring along your backpack (or book bag!) at 10am on Sunday. There will be refreshments after the service 🎒☕️ 🎒

Diary dates for September! We will be marking the start of a new school year with a special All Age service on Sunday 6th September at 10am. All those starting or returning to school or college are invited to bring along their bag or backpack for a blessing. Everyone is very welcome.

On Saturday 10 October, we will be holding a short service at 5pm for those who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth or the loss of a child, as part of Baby Loss Awareness week. There will be the opportunity to bring a photo, light a candle and hear names read aloud. If you would like the name of a precious one read out as part of the service, please do email [email protected] or come a little early and complete a card on the day.

Also in September, we are looking forward to welcoming local pets (and their owners!) for a special Pet Service, to celebrate the joy and companionship animals bring to our lives. This service will be at 4pm on Sunday 13th September - all are welcome. If you prefer, then come with a photo of your pet, or if you don’t have a pet, bring along a cuddly toy!
