Just asking for few minutes of yours in sharing 1 Peter 3:10-12 portion of scripture and message as the Holy Spirit as given me, and hope you would be blessed.
"If you want to live a happy, good life, keep control of your tongue, and guard your lips from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good. Try to live in peace even if you must run after it to catch it and hold it. For the Lord is watching his children, listening to their prayers, but the Lord's face is hard against those who do evil." (TLB).
Beloved, little foxes spoil the vine! By the misuse of the tongue, an individual opens the door to every kind of affliction into their lives, and they hinder God's glory from ceaselessly flowing upon their lives, they operate under a closed heaven, and eventually run themselves dry of God's anointing and oil upon their lives, all in the process of the misuse of the tongue.
By the constant misuse of the tongue - ranking from lying, talkativeness, gossiping, slandering, bragging, self glorification, abusing, cursing, swearing, cutting to pieces one another, (esp. In a husband and wives relationship), to the use of the tongue to cause problems and unsettlement amongst family members, relationships, spouses, work places, community settings, church settings, an individual will cause a lot of emotional, mental, spiritual and physical difficulties in the life of others
The misuse of the tongue can bring displeasure from God.God and one may enter into wilderness seasons one after another and eventually created a barrier between ourselves and angelic deliveries to our prayers. Does anyone find themselves in this situation mentioned above.
The good news is that: God can deliver and cleanse with the blood of Jesus Christ from every weaknesses in our life. The first step is repentance!
You may wish to pray like this:. Almighty God, I ask you to have mercy upon me and forgive me and cleanse me with the blood of Jesus Christ.
I bring my tongue into subjection of the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Almighty God, please give me the Power and Dominion over the use of my tongue in Jesus name.
So shall it be in Jesus name. Amen!
