The Territorial Justice and Reconciliation Youth Forum has gathered in the board room at THQ for its inaugural meeting. They’ve been encouraged by our Territorial Commanders to “speak up and speak out” and we are excited to see how God will use the voices and passion of these young people from across the UK and Ireland. Together we’ve prayed “your Kingdom come, your will be done.” Please join us in that prayer today!

This weekend was the final residential for this years Transformers. Our young people learned about different types of mission corps in London are looking at, caring for creation, thinking about what God’s mission for the world is and what their personal mission might be. As it was the final weekend we had a celebratory round of indoor crazy golf too. Please pray for our young people and that they now put in to practice what they have learned over the last six months.

THE LONDON DIVISION IS BORN
The river no longer divides us!

Please pray for Major Mandy White and Major Steve White as they take up divisional leadership today.

They will be supported by a fantastic officer team:- Majors Gordon Cotterill, Janice Snell, Jason Snell, Julie Pell, Ruth Gray, Karl Gray, Margaret Downham, Jonny Smith, Glenn Furlong, Sharon Furlong, Liz Chape.

And a fantastic employee team:- Lynne, Rachel, Irma, Julian, Paul, Jennifer.

We will praise Him for all that is past and tryst Him for all that’s to come.

So South London Division signs off……thank you God for the past seven years!

And this marks the end of the South London Division - a beautiful expression of Gods mission and ministry, through corps, older peoples services, homelessness service and fresh expression. We were born 1 July 2016 and led by a year by Lt Colonel Suzanne Fincham, followed by Major Val Mylechreest. In the main the team has remained the same. Our officer personnel has changed, some corps have flourished and a couple have closed. The ministry and mission continues, it’s just a boundary change, but we’ve loved being a family together. We pray warmly for the new team, led by Major Steve White as divisional commander, with Major Mandy White. Now over to the London Division………

TODAY Major Kevin Stanbury concludes his seven years in the South London Division having served in the divisional team throughout this time. We are grateful to God for Kevin’s interaction with many different mission expressions and His heart to see Gods will being done. Kevin received an additional appointment last year and will move into this full time, at William Booth College, as learning and development officer (into officership). We pray Gods blessing over him in these days.

SUMMER SCHOOL 2023
We have set up a fundraising page to give people the opportunity to contribute to the cost of a young person to attend summer school. With the continuing cost of living crisis and high prices everywhere it is difficult for families to find money for such things.

You may have attended a summer school in the past, you may not. But you might want to invest in the spiritual journey of a young person at your corps or someone you may have never met. Here is your opportunity.
