Refugee Week Begins🙏 for Christ Church Surbiton Hill and Tolworth, Emmanuel: Vicar John Shepherd; Emmanuel Baikie (Assistant Priest); Emily Charkham (Associate Minister) & Congregation.
The Rev’d Emily Charkham was greeted with joyful, party canon confetti as she was licensed by the Bishop of Kingston to be an Associate Minister in the Parish of Christ Church, Surbiton Hill with Emmanuel, Tolworth. Please pray for her, and for ministry in the Parish as we seek to live and share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Praise God for the blessing of a church day away, with over 100 members of our two congregations gathering for a day of teaching, worship, fun, laughter and eating together. Spirits were not dampened inspite of the rain!

On 2nd Sunday after Trinity🙏 for St Paul's Church Hook: Jen Houghton (Vicar), Ann Fernihough (CPLM), Neil Meehan (LLM in training) & Congregation.
Please pray for us as we develop our Mission Action Plan over the coming months, and engage with our local community through music concerts, a Mothers' Union Cream Tea, the blessing of backpacks and a pet service! We are so thankful for our close relationship with our parish schools, especially St Paul's CofE Primary and Southborough High School, and for the recent reinstating of Church parades. Please pray for us to notice where God is at work and to join him there.
