Moulana Amin Sadak, son of one the Elders of our Masjid e Umer community, Qari Ismail Sadak Saheb رحمه الله، has just departed from this temporary abode and returned to his Creator.

May Allah almighty forgive his shortcomings and grant him an elevated status in Jannat ul Firdows.

May Allah almighty grant his family and friends Sabrun Jameel.

🌙 *Salah al-Kusuf – Wednesday 12 August at Masjid e Umer*

In shaa Allah, we will be praying Salah al-Kusuf (the Eclipse Prayer) at Masjid e Umer on Wednesday 12 August.

🕌 Please arrive at the masjid by around 6:45pm. We aim to begin the prayer at approximately 7:00pm, depending on when the effects of the eclipse become visible.

Asr Salah: On Wednesday 12 August only, Asr will be at 7:30pm.

Please arrive early so we can be ready to pray together, in shaa Allah.

May Allah ﷻ accept our prayers and grant us His mercy. Ameen.

Declaration for the month of Muharram 1448

Local Sighting Report: Negative
Foreign Sighting Report: Negative

Therefore, the Islamic month of Dhū al-Hijjah will complete 30 days. Muharram will begin after Magrib on Tuesday 16th June 2026.

The first day of Muharram will be Wednesday 17th June 2026.

The day of Ashura will be Friday 26th June 2026.
