We’re excited to share a little change to Harmony Toddler Group from September!

After a year of welcoming babies, toddlers, parents and grandparents on Wednesday afternoons, we’ve decided that Wednesday mornings will be an even better time for Harmony.

So, from September 2026, Harmony Toddler Group will meet on:

Wednesdays, 10.00–11.30am
St Mary’s Church, High Ongar

We know that afternoons can often coincide with nap time for little ones, so we’re hoping that a morning session will make it easier for more families to come along and enjoy Harmony together.

If you’ve joined us before, we’d absolutely love to see you again — perhaps Wednesday morning will suit you better! And if you’ve been coming regularly, we hope you’ll be able to continue joining us in our new morning slot.

As always, there’ll be plenty of fun, games, crafts, snacks and music, along with our much-loved Bible stories told on our giant fuzzy-felt tableau! 🐑🌳🌈

We look forward to seeing you and your little ones on Wednesday mornings from September!

Here’s a group of lovely ladies from the parish making up various items for this year’s shoeboxes - pencil cases, sewing kits, cd mobiles.

Our shoeboxes go to Link to Hope who provide Christmas shoeboxes to impoverished families and elderly people in Ukraine and Eastern Europe — not just children. Each shoebox supports an entire household or an elderly person facing isolation or hardship.

It costs £3 to send each shoebox and so if you can help by making a donation that is greatly appreciated. There will be more information about our shoeboxes campaign at this Sunday’s Cream Tea event at St Mary’s High Ongar. Come along at 3:00pm to find out more!

Yesterday at & today the Open the Book team told the story “Everyone gets the same” based on the story Jesus told about the workers in the vineyard - The message being no one is more important than the other, God sees everybody equally. Lots of fun was had by children & adults alike 😉
