Your Words Carry Power! Your Words declares your World.

"Where the word of a king is, there is power... "Eccl.8:4

In Bible times, a king’s word carried tremendous power. What he decreed would come to pass. It would be done. For example, if he said, “Raise the taxes,” the taxes would be raised.

Do you know that we are kings? The Bible tells us that Jesus has washed us from our sins with His blood and made us kings. Revelation 1:5–6. And as kings in Christ, our words carry power too.

When we place our hands on a sick person and say, “Be healed,” the person is healed. When we lay hands on our children and say, “Be blessed,” our children are blessed. There is power in our words because they are the words of kings!

When I was a young Christian in my teens, I wanted to practice what I had learnt about the power of my words. There was this particular plant near my home and whenever I passed by it, I would say to it, “Be cursed in Jesus’ name!”

Many days passed. And I will never forget the day when I noticed that the leaves of the plant had turned brown! You may want to try this at home with your potted plants, but bless them instead!

Since our words carry power, can you imagine the harm we do when we say to our loved ones things like, “You are always so careless”, “You are good for nothing” or “You are so stupid”? We are cursing them!

The devil is happy when you use the power of your words against yourself and your loved ones. He wants to see you defeated. So instead of saying, “I am always short of money,” say, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” Psalm 23:1. Instead of saying, “I am so useless. I can’t do anything,” start saying, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13.

Beloved, remember that as a king, what you say will come to pass because where the word of a king is, there is power. So learn to say what God says about you in His Word and see His promises come to pass in your life! Shalom.

I Am the Light of the World. John 8:12.

A few years ago, there were a number of scientific writings dealing with the nova experience (from the Latin word novus or "new"). The nova phenomenon occurs when a medium-sized star suddenly gets brighter and hotter for a period of about one to two weeks. Then it becomes darker and cooler. Each year, observers discover about 10 of these novae.

As scientists observed other stars "go nova" as soon as half of their hydrogen was exhausted, it became popular to believe that the same could happen to our sun.

Can the sun suddenly become a danger, ceasing to warm us and provide the perfect balance of energy we trust in and seek each day? The answer is yes! In Revelation, we read that in the final days the earth will be destroyed. There will be a new earth and a new heaven. And there will be no need for a sun because we will have the Lord Jesus Christ. He will be our source of light, which will be much brighter and warmer than the sun.

Jesus is the light of the world John 8:12, and we do not have to wait until the end to walk in His light. Today, He is the one who brings light to the murky areas of our lives. No darkness is powerful enough to eliminate His light. When you step into the light of His love, your pathway will be lit with heaven’s hope.

Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus, the light of the world. I choose to step into the light of His love today. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

"When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life’" John 8:12.

El Shaddai, The Lord Almighty is Incomparable

Therefore You are great, my Lord Adonai! For there is none like You, and there is no other God besides You, as we all have heard with our ears. ―2 Samuel 7:22

Al- ken ga•dál•ta Adonái Elohím ki-eyn ka•mó•cha ve•eyn Elohím zu•la•té•cha ke•chol ashér-sha•má•anu be•oz•néy•nu.

The Philistines defeated Israel and captured the Ark of the Covenant. They brought it to the temple of Dagon and placed it beside their deity. The next morning, the Philistines entered the temple and saw their god had fallen face down before the Ark of God. They picked up Dagon and put him back into place. But the second morning, they again found their god with his face to the ground in front of the Ark. This time, his head and hands were cut off. The Philistines moved the Ark to different cities, but each was struck with plagues. After seven months, the priests of Dagon agreed: the Ark of Adonai must return to Israel, and “you must give glory to the God of Israel.” (See 1 Samuel chapters 5 and 6.)

At Mount Carmel, Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal to beseech their god to ignite a sacrifice on their altar. Elijah did the same with an offering to the God of Israel. Before he did, he drenched the sacrifice, wood and altar with water, thus setting the stage for a spectacular display of God’s power and sovereignty. No fire was sent to light the offering to Baal, but God Himself brought down a fire so intense that it consumed Elijah’s sacrifice, the wood and even the altar of stones beneath it. (See 1 Kings chapter 18.)

The God of Israel is the one true God. No fabricated god of man can compare. He alone is the Lord Almighty. There is none like Him! Glory be to God!

"Turn to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth. For I am God – there is no other." ―Isaiah 45:22

"That at the name of Yeshua every knee should bow, in heaven and on the earth and under the earth, and every tongue profess that Yeshua the Messiah is Lord ‒ to the glory of God the Father. "―Philippians 2:10‒11

Only Jesus can give you a brand new start
Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless

one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

The phrase born again has become well known in our culture. It comes from a conversation one night between Jesus and a man named Nicodemus. Nicodemus was one of seventy rulers of Israel and a prominent teacher in the land. One night, under the cover of darkness so no one would see him, Nicodemus came to Jesus and simply said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him” (John 3:2).

Though the Pharisees opposed Jesus, Nicodemus could not deny that Jesus was a teacher sent from God. Jesus ignores the statements of Nicodemus and goes to the motive for his visit. He goes to the question that is buried deep in Nicodemus’s heart—too deep, perhaps, for even Nicodemus to be aware of it. Jesus declared, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Jesus is saying: Nicodemus, you must be born again, born anew, born from above. You need a new birth. If any person is going to see God’s kingdom, if any person is going to be saved and go to heaven, then that person must be born again. Nicodemus, you may be quite religious. You may be a member of the Sanhedrin. You may be the teacher of Israel. You may have great theological training. But, you must be born again.

With one simple statement, Jesus swept away all that Nicodemus stood for, all of his learning and religious efforts. He did not need religion, reformation, or knowledge—Nicodemus needed to be born again. Two verses later, Jesus clarified what it means to be born again when he said, “Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” Jesus is simply reiterating what he just said about being born again. We must be born again—that is, born of water and the Spirit. We must have a new birth, a new spiritual birth. It is the work of the Spirit. Think about how much you contributed to your physical birth. That’s the precise amount that you contribute to your spiritual birth. It is the work of God for you.
