Perceived Truth vs God's Truth

Folks!

Always know that the crowd will most of the time run with perceived truth. The evidence may look and sound right, but in fact it may not be the truth.
"Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment." — John 7:24

A few years ago, I congratulated a lady who looked 8 to 9 months pregnant. She graciously corrected me and told me it was fibroids. Needless to say, I profusely apologised because my perception wasn't the truth.
"Man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart." — 1 Samuel 16:7

Many present perceived truth to others through their own anger. However, the anger of man does not bring about the righteousness of God.
"For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God." — James 1:20

Don't stand against someone when even they themselves don't know what they've done, whether friend or foe.
"He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him." — Proverbs 18:13

Have you noticed that the accused is always given the opportunity to see the evidence presented by both the prosecution and defence so they can answer for themselves?
"The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him." — Proverbs 18:17

Why must we avoid perceived truth at all costs? Because if a text, letter, email, one side of a story or in my case, a perceived pregnancy can be misinterpreted. We can knowingly or unknowingly contribute to the negative impact that believing a perceived truth plays on someone else's life. It often leads to mistrust, tainting of character and possibly loss of relationships.
"Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses." 2 Corinthians 13:1. Please Note: ‘ESTABLISHED IS NOT PERCEPTION’.

Perceived truth is unfair and a lie. Standing for God's Word and His justice is the truth.
"Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed." — Isaiah 1:17

Always stand for Justice, not Unfairness.
"What does the Lord require of you? To act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God." — Micah 6:8

Do not worry…You cannot predict the future and You cannot fix the past.

Ask God to give you this day, the bread of knowledge, wisdom and understanding of what you are to do TODAY, then you will see His Kingdom manifest in your life!

The Misperception - But Don’t Give Up!
There’s a belief in the Body of Christ that when God calls, everything will fall into place and be provided immediately. Furthermore, if there’s difficulties in the journey then God is NOT in it, this is a grave MISPERCEPTION.

Sadly, many anointed people of God, have had their ministries either tarnished or destroyed by such carnal beliefs alongside with the modern day Pharisees and Sadducees.

When we don’t understand a man or woman of God’s journey, our role is to pray and support not tear them down. Doing so says more about the condition of our heart towards God and His people.

When God calls us, life does not always get easier immediately. Moses obeyed God's voice in Exodus 3:10, yet Pharaoh increased the burden on the people, Exodus 5:22-23.
However, though it took time God eventually delivered His people, Exodus 6:1.

We also see a similar pattern in the New Testament, Jesus fulfilled His Father's will, to be the Saviour of the world, 1 John 4:14. However, Jesus endured criticism, rejection before going to the cross. But, on the third day, God raised him from the dead, conquering death, and became the Saviour - Matthew 28:6.

Obedience is normally followed by misperception, opposition, rejection and evil accusations.

We too, after obeying God’s call on our lives, will face similar trials, disappointments, and battles, however by not giving up they become part of our testimony and God given authority.

Through Christ, we have the authority to encourage, strengthen, and help lead others into freedom because we know what it is like to walk through the valley and experience God's deliverance.

As in the life of Joseph, what the enemy meant for harm, God uses for His Divine purpose. Your story is not just about what you survived, it's about who God is calling you to help.
"Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble..." (2 Corinthians 1:4).

So please, ignore the MISPERCEPTION and DON’T GIVE UP, God is with you!

“Pray. Believe. Prepare. Harvest.”
“And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” Mark 11:24

God has already established the principle of Seed, Time, and Harvest in His Word:
“While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest… shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22.

Whether it’s a business, a child, a spouse, friendship, or finances once you’ve prayed, believe you have received. Then trust God through the process.

The Seed - God gives wisdom, instruction, vision, and direction.
The Time - We obey, grow, prepare, and implement the process.
The Harvest - In God’s perfect timing, the manifestation comes.

A farmer plants the seed, waters it over time, and then comes the harvest. The same principle applies in life:

A child - the seed is planted, time passes, and the harvest is the baby.
A job - the seed is deciding the path, time is preparation, and the harvest is employment.
A spouse - the seed is prayer, time is preparation, and the harvest is marriage in God’s timing.

Don’t give up during the “time” season. Your harvest is growing beneath the surface. Trust the process and trust God.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5.

Man does not know the plans for your life only God does. You were created in His image and likeness for a divine purpose. Before you were formed in your mother’s womb, God knew you, called you, ordained you, and sanctified you according to His perfect will.

“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee…”, Jeremiah 1:5.

God does not need a conference call concerning your destiny. His plans for your life were established before anyone ever knew your name. We are called to walk by faith and not by sight, trusting the voice of God above the opinions of man.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7.

If you desire to do great exploits for God, Daniel 11:32 seek Him in prayer. Call upon Him and He will reveal great and mighty things to you through faith, Romans 10:17.

“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”, Jeremiah 33:3.

Go forward in faith, precious brother and sister. A new adventure awaits your life in Christ. Trust God completely and allow Him to lead your path. God bless you in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

People say, “Trust God,” and God says, “Trust Me.”

What do you do when there’s no evidence confirming what God has spoken?
Yep… you got it - TRUST HIM.

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.” Isaiah 55:8

He makes a way in the deep while we often prefer the shallow.
“The Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters.” Isaiah 43:16

Just as Joseph and Jesus were stripped of their garments, many times we are stripped of EVERYTHING we depended on instead of depending fully on Him.
“But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job 23:10.

Your life may look like shambles right now, but trust God. Genesis 1 reminds us that God brings order out of chaos, light out of darkness, and beauty out of what looks empty and broken.
“And the earth was without form, and void… And God said, Let there be light.” Genesis 1:2-3.

Hold on. You are a walking testimony and a soldier in the Army of the Lord!
“Endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” 2 Timothy 2:3.

Are we prepared to give our lives as a living sacrifice to God, Romans 12:1? This means:

1. Surrendering our plans, desires, or comfort to God?

2. Living in obedience to Him even when it is difficult?

3. Dedicating our whole life to God, not just part of it?

David said “…I will not sacrifice to the Lord my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing.”
2 Samuel 24:24 (NIV). It must ALWAYS significantly cost us if we are truly serious about serving God.

The cost could be:
Rejection - Isaiah 53:3
Accusation - Matthew 26:59-60
Unfair trial - John 18:19-24
Malignment - Psalm 109:25
Betrayal - Luke 22:47-48
Reputation loss - Philippians 2:7
Offended against - Matthew 24:10
Lies - Mark 14:56
Praise & Reject - Luke 19:38&23:21
Friendship loss - Psalm 41:9
Jealousy - Mark 15:10

If you’ve had to pay some or any of the cost from this list (not exhaustive) and not given up on God, then you have truly taken up your cross to follow Him, Luke 9:23.

Yes it’s painful but rejoice and be glad, because the light affliction you’re going through is working for you a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 2 Corinthians 4:17. This is drawing you closer to God and defeating the powers of darkness.

The disciples scattered and left Jesus alone in the garden of Gethsemane, Matthew 26:56, but Jesus carried on to the cross and was raised again three days later.

When those you love and trust abandon you look up, for your redemption draws near, Luke 21:28. Go through the painful process, but remember you’re a soldier in the Army of The Lord, and He will raise you up to continue to build His Kingdom.

It is better to please God than man, Acts 5:29.
Keep going, for great is your reward in Heaven when men revile you and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for His sake, Matthew 5:11-12.

Remember: false evidence was presented against Jesus and He was still placed on the cross, Matthew 26:59-66. For Stephen it was the same, and he was still stoned, Acts 6:11-13; 7:59-60.

Go through the fire for the Lord is with you, Isaiah 43:2. Be like Nehemiah and continue building, don’t stop. Jesus didn’t answer his accusers, and if you’ve been trying to do that to defend yourself, stop it now. The anger of man does not bring about the righteousness of God, James 1:20. Trust Him for He will never leave you nor forsake you, Hebrews 13:5.

Pressure is not the end of our story — it is part of our preparation.

Every challenge is producing endurance, every season is building character, and every lesson is strengthening hope.

Keep going… God is working through it all, in His way and Karios time. He is perfecting everything that concerns us, (Psalm 138:8) in order for us to bring hope to others for His glory…Amen!

Romans 5:3-5 states:
“...tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope.”
