SPS ON TOUR for Tu B'Shevat!
We all gathered at Barnwood Community Garden in East Finchley and were given a tour round the place, which has been transformed from a piece of overgrown wasteland six years ago. We planted a Damson tree, toasted marshmallows, had a reading and then a cream tea in the Community Hall of the Finchley Charities Sheltered housing development, nearby. A lovely afternoon combining community, Eco-Judaism and a Jewish festival !
