Fruitful 2025 is happening this Saturday 21 June 2025 at St Mary’s Church, Marylebone. Fruitful is a conference that gathers people from Christian faith communities from the Evangelical, Charismatic, and Pentecostal traditions who are doing the work and seeking to enjoy a liberating ‘broad place’ of an inclusive and affirming theological position in relation to LGBTQ+ people, their ministries to God’s people and God’s world, and their covenant relationships.

Both concessionary and bursary places available.

Have you registered for our Annual Conference 2025?
When: May 28/29th - June 1st 2025
Where: Turku, Finland
Register here: https://eu.jotform.com/243116514928356

About the conference:
There will be about 20 Workshops on different topics. You can sign up for them on-site in Turku.

We will have the pleasure to welcome the well-known Finnish politician, long-serving member of the Finnish parliament and a minister, peace negotiator, and presidential candidate Mr. Pekka Haavisto to attend the conference on the opening day.

The Turku Conference offers participants a diverse program in all the colours of the rainbow. Everyone will certainly find something interesting and educational to learn, as well as discover new perspectives on expressing s*xuality and the broad spectrum of gender identities.

Linnasmäki College is a modern and functional conference environment. Forested nature spreads right next to the College. You can relax in the sauna and swimming pool, or unwind in the College’s own quiet room where you can retreat whenever you like.

Turku's medieval cathedral provides Finland's most magnificent setting for the rainbow mass. We will also explore Finland's oldest city, Turku, guided by knowledgeable guides.

Come and experience the connection with each other and gain strength by participating in the shared program.

When registering for the European Forum in Turku, please read all the instructions carefully so that we will all have a pleasant experience and avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings and miscommunications.

You are warmly welcome as our guest! Best regards, the organizing committee of the European Forum of LGBTI+ Christian Groups Annual Conference 2025

We are devastated by the newly adopted law in Hungary banning Pride events.

In 2021, Hungary amended the Child Protection Act to prohibit minors from accessing content that portrays or promotes homos*xuality, gender identities different from s*x at birth, or gender reassignment. This anti-LGBTQI+ policy has now been expanded to ban public assemblies such as Pride.

This legislation is a direct attack on the freedom of assembly for LGBTI people in Hungary, particularly targeting Pride marches. The European Commission has taken legal action against Hungary over this law, and the Venice Commission has deemed it incompatible with international human rights standards, including the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR).

Any restrictions or bans on Pride also violate fundamental rights to freedom of assembly and expression, which are protected under both international law and Hungary’s own Constitution.

Similar policies are spreading: last year, Bulgaria adopted a law similar to Hungary’s 2021 legislation, and it is now evident that such provisions can be used to suppress broader public assembly and expression related to LGBTI identities and issues.

The European Forum of LGBTI+ Christian Groups strongly opposes these restrictions on fundamental freedoms and civil rights. We firmly believe restrictions like these have no place in the European Union.
