Haven Green Baptist Church We are a friendly church in the heart of Ealing, West London, of all ages and from many backgrounds and nationalities, with Jesus Christ at the centre.

The FIFA Men’s World Cup is about to begin in Canada, Mexico and the US

Pray for the safety of travelling fans. Remember youngsters who will be inspired to take up football and those of our children and young people who are showing promise and skill. Some players openly display their relationship with God, pray that this might prompt some fans to look to Him.

During the winter, many residents of the Kent area suffered from a lack of water ‘due to the cold weather’. In the May heatwave these same residents have a lack of water because of ‘ the hot weather.’ Pray that all water companies will develop plans that ensure supply of clean potable water. Give thanks for our water.

Over the hot May half term holiday at least nine young people have died of cold-water shock – jumping into open water to cool off. Pray for their grieving families and friends. Ask that news of their deaths will lead to greater awareness of the dangers of swimming before water temperatures have risen, around October.

Give thanks for the architectural skills of Jai, from the Korean Fellowship, in drawing up plans for new toilet facilities at HGBC. Pray for all building users as they peruse the drawings and make comments, from the point of view of their group and use of the buildings. Pray for wisdom for Dave and the elders as they evaluate these comments and look to move forward with this project.
