On the feast of Thomas the Apostle we remember the parishioners of St Thomas Agar Town (merged into our parish in 1953), for all who live within its former bounds, for the church in India, and for all those whose questions dive us ever deeper into the infinite mystery of God.

This year our patronal festival falls on a Sunday (something that won't happen again until 2030!). Our Mass at 10:30 will be something special, with a sermon from The Very Revd Geoffrey Marshall, former Dean of Brecon Cathedral and an orchestra accompanying our choir.

Among the roses of the martyrs, brightly shines Saint Alban! On the feast day of the first British Christian to die witnessing to their faith, we pray for all under his patronage across the UK and the Anglican Communion. This 1885 window of him in our north aisle is in memory of Thomas S Butler.
