CHRISTIANITY - JESUS AUTHORITY AND SALVATION FOR YOU. More than 2000 years ago Jesus walked on this earth. His ministry which lasted about 3years had changed the heart of many people to reverence and worship God. Jesus heals all sicknesses as he raised the dead and made the blind to see. He made the lame to walk, deaf to hear, dumb to speak, casting out demons to mention a few and Jesus still heal

s today and also made the same power freely available to his followers. People today are still looking up to Him for hope, protection, victory, provision, blessings, grace and favour. Abraham knew God to be Almighty. God revealed himself to Moses as Jehovah but Jesus who came from above, revealed God to us as 'Abba Father' ie Our Father who art in heaven. While announcing his birth, Angel Gabriel told the virgin Mary that her son Jesus will set up a kingdom that will have no end. Read Luke 1vs30-33. You need to be saved in other to gain entrance into this peculiar kingdom. Make the choice to enter into eternal life. Not eternal damnation where their worm does not die. To be saved is to have the gift of eternal life, available through Jesus Christ, the Anointed Messiah and Saviour of the world and the only way to God the Father. After this life of struggle, you will like to go to a place of relaxation which our Lord Jesus Christ had gone to prepare for you. Read John 14vs1-6. Be careful. Be sure of your salvation and be redeemed through Jesus Christ. This world is a touch and go, we take nothing into this world and we shall take nothing out. The Holy Bible says everything around us are all temporal and vanity. The only permanent things are with God and His Christ. In our future homes, the city is made of pure gold and had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it; for the glory of God will lighten it. There will be no more death, no more sorrow and no more crying as old things will be done away with, and all things will become new. To receive eternal life and have your name written in the 'book of life', you are required to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. You may then say a prayer like this: "Dear Heavenly Father, I believe that Jesus Christ is your only begotten Son. Lord Jesus! I am a sinner. Today I ask you to come into my life. I want to receive you as my Lord and personal Saviour. I acknowledge that You died on the cross in my place for my sins. (sin is anything we do that dis-pleases God, like hurting others or being wicked. It is like a wall that separates us from God). I believe that after Your death, You were buried, and on the third day, You rose again from the grave and You are alive today. Please have mercy on me and save me from my sins and also give me the gift of eternal life. In Jesus name I pray. I hereby request that the Lord will direct you to a bible believing Church. Where you can fellowship and grow in the Word of God till Jesus Christ will come and take us home...Rev/Prophet George Oladipo NB. Please share, copy and paste. You may translate to other languages. Thank You

You pray and God hears your prayer. You wait and God responds.

Heavenly Father,
We lift You up as the One whose Word is living, faithful and always relevant. We confess the moments we’ve ignored Scripture or treated it lightly when making decisions.
Thank You for breathing life into every verse and equipping us for every good work. Please place a hunger in our hearts to study Your Word daily.
Give us understanding, clarity, and the willingness to apply what we learn. Guide our steps with Your wisdom so we can walk in Your ways.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

The Bible as Our Guide in Decision-Making

Consider for a moment your most trusted resource for making important decisions—perhaps a close friend, a mentor, or even an expert in a specific field. Now imagine having constant access to a resource of timeless wisdom, guidance, and practical insights, capable of informing every choice you make, big or small. This is precisely what the Bible offers.

In our fast-paced world, we often face decisions that demand immediate responses, leaving us feeling overwhelmed or uncertain. The constant influx of opinions, news, and social media content can cloud our judgment and leave us confused about which path to follow. But the Bible provides steady guidance, offering principles that remain relevant and powerful in every era, especially today.

The Power and Value of Scripture

Psalm 119 beautifully captures the essence and value of God’s Word:

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭105‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Just as a lamp illuminates a dark path, Scripture guides us through life’s complexities. It reveals God’s character, His promises, and His plan for humanity, helping us to navigate challenges with confidence and peace.

Furthermore, the Apostle Paul encourages Timothy to recognize the depth and practicality of Scripture:

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Paul reminds us that Scripture is not merely historical text or ancient literature—it’s actively transformative. It teaches us how to live wisely, corrects our mistakes, equips us spiritually, and strengthens us to serve effectively in our communities.

The Uniqueness of the Bible

Consider this: the Bible was written by more than forty different authors over approximately 1,500 years. Despite this vast range of cultures, contexts, and historical circumstances, it remains remarkably consistent in its core message. This divine coherence points directly to its divine inspiration, making it uniquely capable of addressing human experiences across all ages.

The Bible isn’t just another book; it’s a living document that interacts dynamically with our daily lives, speaking directly into our personal struggles, hopes, and dreams.

Practical Steps for Meaningful Bible Study

So, how do you begin meaningful Bible study? Start by setting aside consistent time each day—even if just a few minutes—to read and reflect on God’s Word. Consider these practical steps:

• Choose a passage or book — Start small, perhaps with one Gospel or a Psalm.

• Read slowly and thoughtfully — Allow the words to sink in deeply.

• Reflect on the meaning — Ask yourself, “What is this saying about God, life, and my current situation?”

• Apply practically — Identify how you can apply the wisdom you've learned.

Regular Bible study builds spiritual resilience, provides a strong foundation for navigating life's complexities, and fosters a deeper personal relationship with God.

As you consistently engage with Scripture, you'll find yourself becoming more attuned to God's voice, better equipped to handle challenges, and more grounded in your faith and daily decisions.

Praying For The Children in Bandits Captivity.

Nigeria shall be great again as the Children are our Future !

“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭7‬:‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

In these critical moments, we pray that God will send help to those children for deliverance and victory.

The Blood of Jesus, shall avail and prevail over those children.

The Lord shall deliver them from group afflictions, from jail, from kidnap, from further abduction, from drugs, from terrorists, from every evil culture in the world.

We pray for their quick release, thereafter, great and unshakeable shall be their peace.

Henceforth other children shall not receive battles wrapped as blessings.

All children are destined for greatness and great things, they shall not be spectators in the gathering of glory.

Every troubler of children, I pray that you expire in the name of Jesus, Amen

You pray and God hears your prayer. You wait and God responds.

Heavenly Father,

We honor You as the God who frees, restores, and welcomes us with compassion. We confess the wrong doings, the attitudes, and the heaviness we’ve been carrying instead of bringing it to You.
Thank You for promising forgiveness and cleansing through Your faithful love.
Please purify our hearts, lift the weight we’ve held inside, and help us walk in honesty and renewed joy. Give us courage to make amends where needed and to keep our heart open before You.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Freedom Through Reconciliation

Think back to a moment when you carried something heavy inside—maybe it was guilt from an unresolved argument, regret for harsh words spoken in frustration, or even resentment held silently for too long. You may have felt trapped, burdened by an invisible weight.

Confession, at its core, is the spiritual practice of releasing this burden through honesty with God. Like cleaning a window that's been smudged over time, confession clears away the spiritual clutter and helps us reconnect with clarity and peace. It’s not about condemnation, but liberation—freedom found in the courage to face the truth.

Our modern world often pushes us to hide our imperfections, presenting a polished image that rarely reflects reality. This façade can be exhausting, leaving us feeling isolated and misunderstood. However, the Bible reminds us that genuine confession brings healing and restoration:

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

John emphasizes that confession isn’t merely about listing faults—it's an opportunity to experience firsthand the depth of God's grace. When we confess, we acknowledge not only our actions but also our dependency on God’s mercy. It opens a pathway for divine forgiveness and transformation, changing us from the inside out.

King David, familiar with both great triumph and profound failure, captures the essence of confession beautifully in the Psalms:

“Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭51‬:‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭51‬:‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

David’s heartfelt reflection reveals the physical, emotional, and spiritual strain of unconfessed sin. He vividly illustrates how hidden sin drains us of strength and joy, highlighting that confession not only restores spiritual health but also emotional and physical vitality. True confession brings profound relief, replacing inner turmoil with peace and renewal.

Practicing Confession

Practically, how does confession work? Begin by finding a quiet space, free from distraction. Reflect honestly on your heart:

• Identify what burdens you—Is it unresolved anger, pride, or hidden fear?

• Speak openly to God about these feelings—Be as transparent as you can.

• Seek forgiveness sincerely—Trusting fully in God’s merciful response.

Confession also involves action: consider if there’s someone you need to reconcile with, or amends you must make. Real confession not only changes your relationship with God, but also transforms your interactions with others.

Remember, God asks for confession to free us. He waits eagerly to lift the weight you carry and restore the joy and peace He designed for you.

You pray and God hears your prayer. You wait and God responds.

Heavenly Father,

We exalt You as the God who invites us into real relationship, not ritual. We confess that we often treat prayer as a task instead of a conversation.
Thank You for hearing every word, every sigh, every silence—and for speaking back through peace, clarity, and conviction.
Help us quiet our hearts so we can notice Your voice. Shape our prayers by Your Spirit and teach us to respond with obedience and trust. Draw us into deeper communion with You each day.
In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.

God Answers Prayer

God doesn’t just hear your prayers—He answers them.

For many of us, prayer has quietly become a one-way street. We bring our lists, fears, confessions and hopes to God—then close in Jesus name and move on. But Scripture paints a different picture.

Prayer isn’t just speaking to God. It’s communing with God. It’s not a religious obligation—it’s a relational invitation. And if you’re only talking, but never listening, you might be missing some of the clearest signs God is trying to give you.

Today we’ll explore how prayer becomes a two-way conversation—how God speaks, leads, and confirms His will as we open ourselves not just to talk, but to hear.

1. Prayer Opens the Door for Peace—and for God’s Voice

Let’s turn to the verse from Philippians 4:6-7

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This verse reminds us of something profound: prayer is not just a release—it’s a response.

When we present our requests, God doesn’t always answer with immediate change—but He often answers with peace. That peace becomes the first sign that He’s heard you. And more than that—it may be the beginning of Him speaking to you.

Sometimes that response comes through:
• A deep inner calm that doesn’t make sense.
• A sudden clarity in your thoughts.
• A conviction that moves you in a specific direction.

Don’t overlook peace as a passive feeling. It’s often God’s voice saying, “I’m here. Keep going.”

2. The Holy Spirit Helps You Pray When Words Run Out

Have you ever come to prayer and felt completely empty? Unsure what to say? Overwhelmed by the weight of life? This is where the Holy Spirit meets you—not with judgment, but with intercession. As the Romans 8:26–27 states:

“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭26‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭27‬ ‭NIV‬‬

There are moments when you can’t find the words, but the Spirit prays through you. That may sound mysterious, but it’s a deeply personal truth: God doesn’t need perfect phrasing—He wants surrendered presence.

Praying “in the Spirit” means allowing God to shape your prayers to match His will. It means listening as much as speaking, and trusting that even your sighs and silences can carry meaning in the throne room of heaven. After praying with the Spirit’s help, you may feel unusually aligned with God’s heart—more surrendered, more trusting, more ready to obey.

Learning to Recognize God’s Voice

Long before Samuel became a prophet, he was just a boy—serving in the temple, learning what it meant to belong to God. One night, he heard his name called and assumed it was the priest Eli. But after the third time, Eli realized something deeper was happening: God was speaking. So he gave Samuel a simple but powerful instruction.

“The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”
‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This wasn’t a polished prayer or a spiritual performance. It was the honest heart of a young boy making himself available to God. That posture—not performing, just listening—was the beginning of a lifelong conversation between Samuel and the Lord.

And it’s a posture we’re all invited into.

The truth is, most of us struggle not with what to say to God—but with how to listen for His response. Our minds are busy. Our schedules are full. Our prayers often end with “Amen,” and then we’re already on to the next thing.

But it’s in those quiet moments after the prayer, when we pause and say, “I’m listening,” that God often whispers the clearest direction.

Listening to prayer isn’t passive—it’s active attentiveness. It’s sitting with openness. It’s turning down the volume of the world so the Spirit’s voice can rise above the noise. It’s saying,

“God, I’m not just giving You space in my schedule. I’m giving You access to my heart.”

Summing Up

You’ve just learnt one of the most important shifts in your spiritual walk—not just learning to pray, but learning to listen.

That’s no small thing.

It takes courage to slow down. It takes faith to sit in silence. And it takes humility to say, “Speak, Lord, I’m listening.”But by doing so, you’re becoming the kind of person who doesn’t just talk to God—you walk with Him.

You’re tuning your heart to His voice. And every moment of stillness you practice is shaping you into someone who can recognize His signs, hear His direction, and follow with peace.

09/05/2026

Save this and pray it later ⤵️🙏🏾
There are days when your spirit feels tired and you don’t even know what to say in prayer.

1. Lord Jesus, strengthen my spirit, revive my hunger for You, and restore my prayer life and passion again. Holy Spirit, remove every dryness and spiritual heaviness from my life, and let fresh fire fall upon me.

2. Lord, I pray that You would strengthen me with all power according to Your glorious might, that I may have great endurance and patience. Help me to lean on Your strength and not my own, today and every day.

3.Even though I’ve felt far from you for a while, tonight I’m drawing near and asking you to do the same. Please meet me in my brokenness, my need, my shame. Please remind me that even though you feel far away right now, you never really are.

Amen 🙏🏾

You pray and God hears your prayer. You wait and God responds.

Heavenly Father,
We reverence You as the One who weaves purpose through every disruption.
We confess that we fear uncertainty and question Your plans when life doesn’t make sense. Thank You for working in hidden ways, just as You did in Joseph and Abraham.
Strengthen us to release what no longer fits and to follow where You are leading. Help us discern holy restlessness from impatience and trust that some closed door is Your protection.
Prepare our heart for the change You are orchestrating.
In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.

From Disruption to Destiny

When everything shifts, God may be speaking louder than ever.

Not every sign from God feels like a warm confirmation.

Sometimes it comes as discomfort.

Sometimes it looks like a door closing, a routine unraveling, or a restlessness that won’t go away.

And if that’s where you are—you may be standing on the threshold of change.

Throughout Scripture, God rarely launched someone into a new season without first disrupting their current one. Whether it was Abraham, Joseph, Moses, Ruth, or Paul—transformation always followed preparation. And preparation often looked like uncertainty, surrender, or surprising interruptions.

If you’re feeling stretched, confused, or unusually hungry for something deeper, don’t be quick to dismiss it. These may be signs that God is getting you ready for what’s next.

Let’s walk through a few of those signs—and how you can respond with trust instead of fear.

#1 You’re Being Disrupted in Ways That Don’t Make Sense (Yet)

Joseph’s story (Genesis 37–50) is a masterclass in divine preparation. At 17, he had God-given dreams of leadership and influence. But instead of a quick promotion, he was betrayed by his brothers, sold into slavery, falsely accused, and imprisoned.

To Joseph, each setback must have felt like the death of his calling. But to God, it was a training ground—building in Joseph the wisdom, humility, and resilience needed to lead Egypt through famine.
• What looked like a delay was actually development.
• What felt like abandonment was actually alignment.

And in the end, Joseph told his brothers:

“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭50‬:‭20‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Sometimes your plans seem to be unraveling—but it may be because God is weaving something greater.

#2 What Once Felt “Right” Now Feels Too Small

When God called Abraham to sacrifice Isaac (Genesis 22), it wasn’t just a test—it was a shift. Abraham had already left his homeland, trusted God for a miracle child, and walked in deep faith. But now, God was stretching his faith even further—asking him to surrender what he loved most.

It didn’t make sense. But Abraham obeyed. And in that obedience, something powerful was revealed: his faith had matured enough to trust God’s promise, even when the path looked like loss.

We rarely talk about this, but part of preparation is this:

God may ask you to release what you love most to prove you trust Him more.

It’s not that God wants to take it away. It’s that He wants to see if you’ll trust Him—even if He does.

#3 You Feel Restless—But Not Randomly So

There’s a kind of restlessness that’s spiritual. It doesn’t come from boredom or impatience. It comes from a divine agitation—a holy discontent with surface-level living. It’s the soul’s way of saying, “I was made for more than this.”

That’s not a midlife crisis. That’s movement from the Spirit.

Philippians 2:13 says,

“for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬ ‭NIV‬‬

That inner restlessness may be God’s way of shifting your desires, loosening your grip on comfort, and readying your heart for something new.

You’re Encountering Closed Doors—and Unexpected Peace

Sometimes, God doesn’t speak through what opens—but through what shuts.

Maybe the job didn’t come through.

Maybe the relationship ended.

Maybe the dream faded or the plan changed.

At first, it feels like failure. But as time passes, you sense something deeper—peace.

Not peace because everything worked out… but peace because you’re in God’s hands. Proverbs 16:9 reminds us:

“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭9‬ ‭NIV‬‬

God’s closed doors aren’t rejection—they’re redirection. He’s not keeping something good from you. He’s guiding you toward what’s better.

#5 You’re Growing—Even in the Unknown

Spiritual growth is often the clearest sign that God is preparing you for something new. You start craving His Word. You become more sensitive to the Spirit’s promptings. You pray differently. You see things in Scripture you’ve never noticed before.

And you begin to realize: God isn’t just working around you. He’s working in you as it is written in 2 Peter 3:18:

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Preparation isn’t just about where God is taking you—it’s about who He’s forming you to become. You’re changing in ways you can’t fully explain—but they’re all drawing you closer to God.

If today’s teaching felt personal—it’s because it is.

Maybe you’re seeing your own story in Joseph’s waiting, or Abraham’s surrender. Maybe you’re feeling that quiet restlessness that won’t leave you alone, or watching as doors close that once looked like the right path. If that’s you, take heart: you are not lost—you’re being led.

You’ve come a long way in this journey already. The very fact that you’re here, leaning in, shows your desire to walk in step with Him. Keep going. You’re not just reading signs—you’re learning to follow them. The Lord is good, all the time.

You pray and God hears your prayer. You wait and God responds.

Heavenly Father,
We honor You as the God who speaks through living and active Scripture. We confess how often we rush in life instead of listening for Your voice.
Thank You for breathing life into every verse in your word and for using it to teach, comfort and guide us. Please deepen our hunger for Your truth and help us meditate, not skim.
Open our eyes to insights, conviction, and peace that come only from Your Spirit. Shape our discernment so we recognize Your voice clearly.
In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.

Hearing God Through Scripture

If you want to hear God’s voice more clearly, start by opening your Bible. It’s not just ink on a page—it’s breath on a page. Scripture is God’s primary language. And when you read it with an open heart, you aren’t just learning about Him—you’re hearing from Him.

Throughout the Bible, the writers declare over 3,000 times some version of “The Lord says,” making it unmistakably clear that they were recording God’s own words. And because, as 2 Timothy 3:16 reminds us, “all Scripture is God-breathed,” we can trust that it teaches us what’s true, corrects what’s wrong, and shapes us to live in alignment with God’s character. His ultimate goal is to train us in His righteousness, forming us into people who reflect His heart.

God speaks through many means, but His Word is still the clearest, most consistent, and most personal channel for divine communication. Jesus called it truth. The writer of Hebrews called it living and active.

So if you’re asking for signs—look here first.

The Bible is God’s Voice in Print

When Paul said that all Scripture is "God-breathed," he wasn’t being poetic. He meant it literally—the Holy Spirit inspired the words of Scripture, and the same Spirit speaks them freshly to you today. Every time you open your Bible, God has something to say.

This is not just a religious manual. It’s not static or stuck in the past. It’s alive. And it speaks into your right-now life—your decisions, your struggles, your doubts, your calling.

The more you open the Word, the more you’ll see how often God is already answering the questions you’re asking.

Signs That Scripture is Speaking

Sometimes God’s voice in Scripture is loud and obvious. Other times, it’s quiet and subtle. But if you pay attention, the signs are there. Here are some ways Scripture might be speaking to you today:

• Deeper Insight
You read a familiar passage and suddenly something new jumps out at you.

God is opening your eyes to a deeper truth, drawing you into closer relationship.

• Peace and Comfort
A verse speaks directly to your situation and brings unexpected calm.

God is reassuring your heart—reminding you that He sees, He knows, and He cares.

• Renewed Direction
You read a passage and find clarity about a decision or sense fresh motivation.

God may be pointing you toward the next step in your journey.

• Subtle Resonance
You keep seeing the same theme or verse in different places—church, a conversation, a devotional.

God may be highlighting something specific He wants you to focus on.

• Conviction or Warning
You feel unsettled or challenged while reading.

The Spirit might be calling your attention to an area of your life that needs change or realignment.

These signs aren’t always dramatic. Often, they’re gentle nudges, quiet confirmations, or spiritual echoes that show up again and again until you pay attention.

Meditate, Don’t Just Skim

There’s a difference between reading the Bible and listening to it. Listening takes time. Space. Stillness. That’s where meditation comes in as Psalm 1:2 tells us:

“but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Meditating on Scripture means reading slowly, prayerfully, expectantly. You don’t rush through a verse—you sit with it. You ask questions. You wait. And in that quiet, the Holy Spirit begins to personalize it.

God’s Word wasn’t meant to be glanced at. It was meant to be absorbed. When you slow down long enough to meditate, God slows down long enough to speak.

Let Scripture Shape Your Discernment

Not every idea or emotion is a sign from God. That’s why the Bible is essential for discernment. It helps you filter truth from noise. It gives you context. It anchors your intuition.

If a "sign"* contradicts Scripture, it’s not from God.
• If a feeling leads you further away from faith, it’s not from God.
• But if the Word confirms it—grows it—repeats it— you may very well be hearing the voice of the Shepherd.

You’ve just taken an important step in learning how to hear God more clearly—by tuning in to His voice through Scripture. That’s no small thing.

Every time you open the Bible with expectation, you’re not just reading—you’re listening. And that habit is forming in you the kind of faith that can discern truth in a noisy world.

If you’ve made it this far in your walk with God, take a moment to celebrate. You’re not just going through word empowerment—you’re learning to walk more closely with God.

Let’s keep going—He’s speaking, and He’s leading.
