What a sweet way to end the summer!

After Sunday’s service, we arranged for our local ice cream man, Emre, to surprise everyone with delicious ice cream treats! We enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship and were delighted to invite some of our local neighbours to join us too.

Church, community, sunshine and ice cream.. the perfect end to a lovely summer! ☀️🍦💛

Worship Is a Weapon

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.Psalm 23:1

Worship isn't just a song we sing.. it's a declaration of trust. In Psalm 23, David doesn't focus on the valley; he focuses on the Shepherd. Even in the darkest places, God's presence brings peace, courage, and hope.

When we choose to worship, fear loses its grip, faith rises, and our eyes are lifted from the battle to the One who has already gone before us.

Today, whatever you're facing, don't let your circumstances silence your praise.

Lift your voice, trust the Shepherd, and remember: worship is a weapon, because God's presence changes everything.

My House Shall Be a House of Prayer

"My house shall be called a house of prayer..." — Isaiah 56:7

Let your home be a place where God is welcomed, His Word is honoured, and prayer is a daily priority. As we seek Him with all our hearts, He promises that we will find Him.

"You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart." — Jeremiah 29:13

Today, set aside time to pray, worship, and draw near to God. A praying home is a home where faith grows, peace abides, and lives are transformed.

Last Saturday's Young Adults was filled with laughter, fellowship, and powerful encouragement from Joshua 1:7.

Together we explored what it means to be strong and courageous, standing firm in God's Word and walking faithfully in His ways.

A daily prayer life isn't about routine.. it's about relationship. 🙏

Just as we need food for our bodies, we need prayer to nourish our souls. Prayer strengthens our faith, aligns our hearts with God's will, brings peace in difficult seasons, and reminds us that we never walk alone.

Whether it's 5 minutes or 50, make time each day to pause, listen, and speak with your Heavenly Father. Consistent prayer doesn't just change circumstances.. it changes us.

"Pray continually." — 1 Thessalonians 5:17

✨ Start today. One prayer can become a habit. A habit can become a lifestyle. A lifestyle can transform your walk with God.

What Is Worship?

Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. (Romans 12:1, NKJV)

Worship is surrender.

It is intimacy with God and trust in His heart even when we do not understand His hand.

Worship is warfare! When we exalt God, fear, distraction, and pride lose their place.

Worship shifts our focus from ourselves to HIM.. from what we feel to who He is.

Worship is not simply a song; it is a life laid before God in love, obedience, and awe.

Reflection:
What would change today if I moved my focus from me to God?

Here’s a thought for today: How does worship become a lifestyle and not just a moment?

Community is more than gathering together.. it’s learning how to love like Christ even when disagreements arise. 🤍

God never called us to isolation, pride, or division. He called us to fellowship, humility, forgiveness, and restoration.

Real spiritual maturity isn’t proven in how loudly we speak… but in how deeply we love.

If there’s a relationship that needs healing, let this be your reminder:

✨ Reach out.
✨ Forgive.
✨ Rebuild.
✨ Choose unity over offense.
