Thanksgiving to God for His Enduring Mercy

Greetings Family,

Sorry, it's been so long since we last posted here. I trust that Father has kept each of you, your loved ones, and your families.

The last 12-18 months have been some of the most challenging on a personal front with so many life transitions and significant changes.

It became almost impossible to keep posting as I processed and tried to make sense of what was happening, what God was doing, and what my response was meant to be.

It's been a time of tears, uncertainty, stripping back to basics. A time of reflection and most importantly of healing and restoration.

I thank our Father for Grace, Strength, and for His unfailing love. I want to publicly thank those of you who reached out to check on me, and especially those who prayed and walked with me during periods of this journey. May Father honour you as you honoured me with your prayers, time, and love.

Each of you may be going through your own challenges. Be encouraged. Retain your hope in God. He's not forgotten you. Weeping may endure for a night, but your morning is about to break like the noonday Sun!

Be encouraged, He makes all things beautiful in His time.

I trust that you and your loved ones remain well and that you're all having a week filled with countless blessings.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen events, we're having to postpone tomorrow's webcast to a future date. Apologies for this disappointing news as I know from recent discussions, that many of you were looking forward to this session. We'll aim to reschedule this event as soon as practicable.

We've been quiet in here over recent weeks. However, we've been working on a number of things behind the scenes, including a new teaching series on "The Kingdom of God".

The phrase ‘Kingdom of God’ (also ‘Kingdom of Heaven’ or ‘Kingdom of Light’) appears more than 80 times in the New Testament. Most of these references occur in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. While the exact term is not found in the Old Testament, the existence of God’s Kingdom is expressed similarly in the Old Testament.

As Disciples, we either use the expression or hear it referenced frequently but what does it really mean? Should we be giving greater thought to this?

In this series, we'll explore a number of themes including:-

1. What is it? (Is it a Political, Spiritual, Physical, or another type of Kingdom?)
2. Is it a future Kingdom or is it already here?
3. Why did Yeshua (Jesus) devote such a major part of His ministry teaching about it?
4. How does one gain access to it and is it accessible to everyone?
5. What are the rules or 'Standard Operating Procedures' within the Kingdom?
6. Who are the citizens of this Kingdom and what are their responsibilities?

We'll cover these questions and so many more.

We begin on Wednesday 5th May at 6 AM (GMT). Please feel free to join us (and if you know of others who might be interested in learning with us, do feel free to share on your social media platforms). We'll be streaming 'live' via a number of platforms including Facebook and YouTube.

If there are key questions you've always had about the 'Kingdom of God', please add them below this post and we'll address them at some point during our journey as we explore the 'Kingdom of God' together.
