Everyone deserves to feel the wind in their hair. 🌳🚲

For over a decade, Cycling Without Age has been a key project at the heart of Time & Talents support, helping older people in Rotherhithe and Bermondsey get out and about to enjoy freedom, friendship and fresh air. But its so much more than a bike ride.

For many older people who are isolated or have limited mobility, a ride on our specially adapted trishaws can mean so much more than getting from A to B. It’s a change of scenery, a chance to chat, share stories, meet people and feel connected to their community.

🚴 Could you volunteer to be a Cycling without Age pilot? With the support of our vital volunteer pilots, passengers can enjoy gentle rides through local parks and green spaces. It’s time to laugh, reminisce, talk and simply enjoy being out and about, but we need more volunteer pilots.

Whether you can commit regularly or just help out occasionally at events, we’re looking for experienced cyclists to join our team.

Sunday morning, the congregation heard from the pilgrims who walked from Southwark Cathedral to Canterbury. What a profound experience each one had to describe. We congratulated them on their wonderful effort raising funds for young swimmers in Southwark.

Huge congratulations to Andy, Scott, Paul, Sam and Dominic for their amazing feat. They walked to Canterbury from Southwark Cathedral in less than three days, to raise money for the young people’s swimming club. A huge achievement!

Three members of our church choir are walking to Canterbury to raise funds for Southwark Aquatics Swimming Club. Because of Canada Water pool’s being out of action for months, the club is faced with increased costs. Please help our young 8 to 12 year olds of Southwark if you can!

Iʼm raising money to support Southwark Aquatics Swimming Club . Support this JustGiving Crowdfunding Page.
