Big congratulations to Redemption Roasters on receiving the King’s Award for Enterprise 👑☕

St James’s partnered with Redemption Roasters in December 2022 because it’s a great fit for the church’s social justice values. The café’s purpose is to reduce reoffending rates for people who’ve been through the prison system, through its unique coffee business model. The roastery is in a prison, some of the staff in the cafes have been through the prison system, and the delicious coffee is a good way to support positive social transformation here in London and beyond.

We’re proud to see this work recognised — changing lives, one cup at a time.

📢 Notice: Church Closure for Local Elections

St James's will be serving as a polling station for the local government elections tomorrow.

As a result:

There will be no Morning Prayer service
There will be no Lunchtime Eucharist

We’re glad to support our local community in this important way and appreciate your understanding.

Thank you!

“My anger is sacred.”

As we mark nearly 200 years since William Blake’s death, we turn to voices who speak truth, resistance, and vision today.

Sacred Visions & Anger launches a series of conversations connecting Blake’s prophetic imagination with Indigenous perspectives on land, justice, and spirit.

📅 Wed 13 May | 19:30–21:00
