You’re warmly invited to Carols and Christingle at Oakleigh Community Church.

Join us at 6pm on Sunday 21st December for a relaxed and joyful evening as we sing well-loved carols and celebrate the light of Christ together. We’ll have Christingles for all the children, along with mulled wine and mince pies to enjoy as we gather.

This is a lovely, family-friendly moment in the run-up to Christmas, and a great evening to bring friends, neighbours, and anyone who would enjoy a warm welcome and the sounds of the season.

Christmas is nearly here, and we would love to celebrate with you! Join us this Sunday for a joy-filled Christmas Fair – completely free and open to the whole community.

Here’s what’s coming up at OCC:

✨ Christmas Fayre
Sunday 14th December, 4:30pm
A festive afternoon for the whole family — live reindeer, stalls, treats, crafts, music, and a chance to gather with friends and neighbours. A brilliant event to invite your friends and family along to!

🕯️ Carols & Christingle
Sunday 21st December, 6pm
A beautiful blend of classic carols and the much-loved Christingle tradition. Expect warmth, light, and a joyful reminder of why Christmas matters. Perfect for all ages.

⭐ Christmas Day Service
Thursday 25th December, early evening
A short, meaningful gathering on Christmas Day as we celebrate the birth of Jesus together before the festivities at home.

Whether you’re part of OCC or exploring church for the first time, we’d love to celebrate Christmas with you.

We’re Officially Accredited! 🎉

We’re delighted to share that Oakleigh Community Church has now received Enhanced Accreditation from the NACCC (National Association of Child Contact Centres), officially recognising us as a contact centre for children and families in the care system.

This is the next step in our dream to be a place where families can reconnect, safely and with dignity, in an environment marked by compassion, care, and the hope we have in Jesus.

This milestone has only been possible through:
✨ A dedicated team of 12 amazing volunteers, who together have completed over 500 hours of specialist training
✨ The incredible generosity of our OCC community, who helped us bring the building and facilities up to the high standard required

We’re deeply thankful — and excited to begin serving families from our local area who need a space like this.
