Acts 10:38

The same thing it cost you to receive the oil of God is the same thing it demands to maintain the oil.

Whenever a man separates himself to seek God, God meets him there. There is a place of consecration where the oil is received, and there is a place of consecration where the oil must be maintained.

The oil can be lost. Therefore, whatever it has taken for you to receive the oil of God, that same thing will be required to maintain it.

The mercy of God found Saul and qualified him to become king. Yet Saul continued operating as king even after the oil had departed from him. He was still functioning in the position but did not realise the oil had left him.

It is possible to continue functioning in a position while the oil has departed.

The same mercy that found you and gave you the oil is the same mercy that will reveal when you no longer have the oil.

Therefore, remain in the place of consecration. Seek God, abide in Him, and maintain the oil.

IMPACT OF THE ANOINTING | 04.09.26

The anointing is what gives you spiritual authority. It is the presence of the Holy Spirit at work in the life of a Christian. The anointing keeps your gifts, calling, and ministry alive.

There are great benefits to carrying the anointing:

1. The anointing empowers your assignment.
2. The anointing gives you all-round rest.
3. The anointing brings joy.
4. The anointing brings the presence of God.
5. In the presence of the Lord, your thoughts are transformed.
6. The anointing destroys the works of the enemy.

When you carry the presence of the Lord, you develop a hunger for His presence. You become increasingly drawn to Him and desire to remain in His presence.

Never become so focused on the gift that you forget the Giver. Never allow performance to replace the Presence.

The greatest danger is to keep performing when the Presence has departed. May we remain humble, surrendered, and completely dependent on the Holy Spirit.

We were reminded that God doesn’t bless us simply for ourselves, He blesses us so that we can become a blessing

Kingdom advancement starts with the right mentality: loving God, loving His house, serving faithfully, and having a genuine desire to see souls won for Christ.

Just like the early church, we are called to grow, make an impact, and replicate Christ wherever we go. There is no retirement in serving God. Our lives, our service and our dedication can all be used to advance His Kingdom.

Despite the rain, we still came together as one church family for an amazing indoor Sports Day! From games to plenty of laughs, it was such a good time of fellowship and fun 🏃🏽‍♀️⚽️🏆

Next year, we’re coming bigger & better!
